No they aren’t knock offs. They are made by Subs partner before he passed from AZ/OK Will. Will was Subs VP of operations for subcool seeds and is now in full control of the company. Subcool seeds are made by and owned by Subs biz partner Will. Not vouching for the genetics and I don’t have any in my plans but they are legit brand Subcool seeds.

He is selling the super soil subcool charge packs too.

Sad to see anyone profit off of subs death even if will was his partner before his passing
Those charge packs are for lazy people who don’t want to mix/cook their own super soil and as sub said in a weednerd episode his methods aren’t for the lazy grower…

I also heard that badger from Badgers batch and Joel from Norstar Genetics gave him Space Queen/Space Dude to hold on to after sub passed…
I wish a real weednerd got their hands on it and not someone who would make fem seeds with it, but what can we do not being as established in the industry as will is/was, at least I’m not that established, not gonna speak for others but damn man…

~100€ for 5 fem is still ripoff! 50€ and i Will try Will´s seeds. My local seed seller said that he dosen´t know the real retail price yet? Price tag was 90€ in northern europe??

I remember many times Sub saying that when he dies, Will, will be taking over Subcool’s Dank. I’m sure Sub didn’t know he was gonna make fems. Like ole Sub would say, “if u don’t got 45 days in your life to sex a plant, don’t grow pot!” Those fem shirts he made up too…

I'm pumped too but the Garlic Bud passes on some late term nanner traits, as you can see in the above photos. She goes through cycles, you won't see a single nanner anywhere a few runs, then you get a bunch. It is what it is and doesn't bother me in the least. It is 23 years old too....

Yeah that wouldn’t bug me either, as long as you know your strain that well to know when to expect it, then I wouldn’t see it causing any issues
I can’t wait to see how my vanilla tart goes if she’s really nice I’ll pollinate her with my Querkle male I’m now searching for the perfect female but maybe I’ll make some Querkle f2s for now to have seed stock and make more crosses in the future

So guys what does everybody have left of Subs gear. Lets figure out a way to work together somehow so nobody ends up supporting whats going on w tge new. Im not trying to start anything just wanna share. You know like back in the overgrow days Sub talked about. Lets see what we got together if anyone chooses. Maybe we could do some pollen chucking keep Subs memory alive us weed nerds i know a few of u have been here a minute. It was a special time 10 years ago on here 2011 and 2012. Whose down? If anyones down should we start a new thread or keep this one going strong as legit Nerds? Thoughts?

Yeah i just went to subcool.com and that shit made me sick. I wouldnt have minded really but the fem seeds and the seed packs look like Subcoo just seems shady. Sub made a big impact on my life. He lives on in the seeds. I feel like a part of Sub is in my garden in the plants. We know that passion he had. Okay yes im really high and might sound like a Bitch. Lol. End of rant.

Man I was hoping for someone to pitch an idea like this that had more TGA/HNW/HOTF gear than I have/had and have ran through over the years

I live for TGA gear as subcool changed my life forever when I discovered TGA and supersoil and the weednerd show back in maybe 2010

Since then I’ve grown and bought exclusively TGA gear until Sub passed away and I couldn’t find it any longer besides the few years in that period where I wasn’t growing but also have preached super soil and weednerd methods to my friends and fellow growers til they are so sick of hearing it they try it once and never look back

What a great way to honor Subs life and his work

I’d be more than down as the only “new” stuff I mess with now is Badgers Batch and Producers Overstock

I’d love to chuck some pollen in Subs honor with a Querkle male I am trying to keep around and cloned in veg so he doesn’t release any pollen until I want him too

I very much think this thread is the best one on RIU imho with all the weednerds showing their hard work off in one place but if you start a new one for chucking TGA pollen and helping other weednerds maintain these strains in our gardens for good in Subs memory I’ll be there in a heartbeat too

You’re not the only one who feels they have Sub watching over their garden/part of Sub being in it as weednerds we continue the work he set out to do and changed countless people’s lives from the growing community to those who very much can’t get by without their mmj medicine and rely on a weednerds garden for clean medicine that was not grown commercially in warehouses with no love in it at all

Guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Subcool did make reference to producing fem seeds on the Weed Nerd while in Arizona.
He lost a lot of money between the fire and divorce.
According to Sub he paid out over a million to Big Nose in the divorce, not to mention, being forced to give her the TGA brand, as well.
I know his old saying "TGA will produce feminized seeds when Subcool sells out".
I don't think he had many options available at that point (post fire and divorce) for expanding his business, especially after the bowling alley fiasco, so putting his name on some fem seeds was the only cash grab he had left.
I don't think any less of Sub for doing this, he stuck to his guns as long as he possibly could about not making fem seeds, but life forced his hand.

The pricing seems a bit high but hopefully the genetics are still strong.

obviously he wasn’t in his right mind and was desperate. He never made em in the end, I won’t hold it against him.
