TGA By Others

Damn Bad Karma i must have missed that Nerd while i was locked up. I like to think it would have been a limited time release just to money up from the fems. I still want to pass along stuff do some pollen chucking. Not bozo pollen chucking but as proper as i can.

I live for TGA gear as subcool changed my life forever when I discovered TGA and supersoil and the weednerd show back in maybe 2010

Since then I’ve grown and bought exclusively TGA gear until Sub passed away and I couldn’t find it any longer besides the few years in that period where I wasn’t growing but also have preached super soil and weednerd methods to my friends and fellow growers til they are so sick of hearing it they try it once and never look back

What a great way to honor Subs life and his work

I’d be more than down as the only “new” stuff I mess with now is Badgers Batch and Producers Overstock

I’d love to chuck some pollen in Subs honor with a Querkle male I am trying to keep around and cloned in veg so he doesn’t release any pollen until I want him too

I very much think this thread is the best one on RIU imho with all the weednerds showing their hard work off in one place but if you start a new one for chucking TGA pollen and helping other weednerds maintain these strains in our gardens for good in Subs memory I’ll be there in a heartbeat too

You’re not the only one who feels they have Sub watching over their garden/part of Sub being in it as weednerds we continue the work he set out to do and changed countless people’s lives from the growing community to those who very much can’t get by without their mmj medicine and rely on a weednerds garden for clean medicine that was not grown commercially in warehouses with no love in it at all

You may hate me for it but im planning a pollen chuck myself with a plushberry male i have… its the most vigorous of anything i have.. just showed nuts today.. i grabbed them from mz jill thought.. she says its original parantage so ill take her word.. i have a bunch of his og strains aswell but I’ll probably end up holding on to them forever and never getting around to pop them

So these are @ like day 18 of flower. The Jazz queen bottom left had some issues but shes good. Just her little issues takes her out of any pollen equation. So i got a couple galactic jack 2 cheesequakes and 2 of jynx go times 2 jazz queens. I popped like 14 beans and only ended up w 2 males. One was from a cross nugbuckets sent me quite awhile ago. He wasnt very good. The other male was jynxproofs Go time. That boy was stacked good structure and showed some glandular trichomes in veg even. Very sticky stem rub. So wtf i will use him. The male in the Go Time cross is called Norton. Not much info really on him besides possibly a skunk or cheese cultivar. Curious to what he will pass onto the cheesequake. I have two phenos one of the taller ones and that short stocky. I really wish i had the cultivars i had selected going through half the TGA menu. But lost them when i went away for 2 years. But i guess the fun starts over. Next i think i will pop some of the older beans i have like plushberry and agent orange for sure. Everytime i go through the seeds i change my mind.

Does anyone know how the strawberry diesel x space dude tester turned out?

I'm actually pretty sure I remember him saying or reading something about his seeds becoming feminized is unavoidable. He may have been referring to other people doing it. I want to say it was from an interview. I'm curious to try to find it now.

I prefer regular seeds myself. I do have Super Lemon Haze clones I started from a feminized seeds before Green House Seeds sold it in regular. It's the only non TGA strain I've had for years now. Shes great indoors but I'm told she hermies bad outdoors.

I found it and posted it below. I personally don't care either way. I do feminized seeds once in a while for different flavors and a lot of them turn our great. It just so happens almost always I keep Subcool strains instead because they perform better for me. I've tried so many different strains though and have a others sitting around to try. I'm kind of at the point where I just want to keep the few Subcool strains I have and the Super Lemon Haze. Still wish I could get the Jack The Ripper back that I had though.

A - What about feminised seeds? Have you ever thought about creating feminised versions of your strains?
Subcool - This is inevitable. If I don't do it, others will. Anyway, you can already buy fem versions of my gear. I am now working behind the scenes with Dinafem to produce a line of fem seeds for the UK market, which is 90% feminised. We are also considering several other feminised projects.

Dinafem was the company that turned me off from fem seeds. That was the first seed company i started growing until i found Sub. I was never impressed and when i grew some TGA it was like a new world. Ironic its them. Im good ive been looking into other regenerative seed companies that look pretty legit. I did just order some Jynx and Mz Jill seeds. I have some La Confidential regs i want to do something with from DNA. Maybe the dinafem will be good. A bright side will be people will try Subs gear that wouldnt have ever. Thats what its about right Overgrow the planet. Make a positive change. I feel like the plants feel the energy being grown and it comes out in the seeds and smoke.

Damn didnt realize the Agent Orange was in such short supply.

Dinafem has been shutdown for over a year ago, things i´ve heard: dinafem owner (pot sistemak s.l) has legal issues, unpaid taxes and all kind of shady going on. They also own Humboldt seeds organization and La mota seeds webshop.

I seen last night that Mz Jill got the orange velvet mom back that made Agent O. So she might release it again.

heres the best looking girl of the bunch. There all putting on trichomes already. Today is day 22 of flower. The picture is day 18. Cant wait to see how she finishes out. I pollinated some branches so hopefully i will be expecting. I did 2 branches on that girl. I hope i didnt have a bunch of rogue pollen floating around might not be making a bunch of fresh frozen this run.

If you got a bud forming in the center of a Vortex fan leaf, it's probably dank...


New Vortex seed plant ran for the first time. I got a 1st generation clone a few days away from going into bud too. I can just tell this pheno won't be a big yielder but the lemon/sweetness is out of this world. From my experience growing Vortex, the best plants are the small to medium yield ones. This one is looking/smelling even more dank than the other keeper I have. Doing work under the green light.

You know everytime i have popped TGA beans there is always atleast one or 2 winners out of 8. There all usually good and better than most breeders genetics. Anybody have a copy of Subs book Dank 2.0? I misplaced mine for a sec and thought i might have to reorder one. Checked Amazon for a copy. Tore my house apart thank the ganja gods i found it. Wise to keep ur copy in mint condition they will only go up I imagine.
