Im growing AK 48 fem from Nirvana. I'm fucking all kinds of shit up and they're growing great.
I think my PH meter is screwed though.I recalibrated it. Reads 7.0 in the buffer solution and 4.0 in the acidic solution, but it's all over the place in freshly oped distilled water...and my freakin hydro shop is closed untill 10 AM Tuesday....damn slackers.

I not here pointing fingers or saying what you do or dont do. usually a jumping ph meter is caused by an old lead on the meter or improper mantinence of the meter. My buddy went through this problem as well as myself with the red Hanna Gro-Check ph meter. I fixed it by making sure the probe was tight and ficing the probe a thourogh cleaning. It is easiest to do this with q tips and water. once the probe is clean, just keep up the basic maintinece of making sure to rinse of the probe after every use in water(nutrients left on cause problems) and making sure to store it wet. Meaning just fill the cap for the probe with distilled water and putting it on. This made my meter work 100% better over night. Hope this helps, but it might help more if we knew what kind of meter you are using. And again, I'm not saying you do or dont do any of these thing.

Its the Distilled Water, bro,
water needs a "buffer" in it, something to stabalize it, the pH. There are two broad distinct different sides to the arguement on water. I suggest if oyu are buying that distilled water, to buy a few gallons of SPRING WATER too, that has the minerals in it.
I 'm going out on a limb here, proposing this, but I know it works. I know what Jeorge says.

You can store your meter in solution or water thats that. You have the meter working correctly most likely. its the distilled water your using to grow with that has pH issues
But the water in your reservoir the stuff your trying to get a reading on is full of distilled water, which is causing the changes in pH. Try some mix of tap water and distilled then use that for the res change. If you can just use your tap water.

Just a quick question. Are you going to try and run perpetual cycle this tent? Like spit the tent and try to do veg and flower at the same time? What would you like to do? I have the same tent...so I might be able to give you some ideas

As for the mixing the tap/ and distilled, I'm gonna try that this res change. I think yall were talking about going 20% tap / 80% distilled the other day, so that's what I'll be doing.
The roots are white and really strong feeling, and the new Veg growth smells like fresh fucking awesomeness, I wanna eat it. So respect again to the bubbleheads.

I have my closet also. I was going to use the tent for flowering im planning on buying a 600 watt hps and air cool it. Right now i have 2 bubble systems 1 for veg and 1 for flower 1 400 hps and 3 105 cfls 1 of each spec. I want to do perpetual and i already have some other girls in veg that i want to clone soon, but im not to sure on how to do that either?

hi Guys im doing bubble my very top leaves on my bud are curling like mad is this normal im a newbie, or is it heat stress i put the fans pointing at the tops and moved the lights higher now, please help a fellow out. Also tell me what you think of them they are 4 wks old into 12/12 of flowering and they are 5 and 1/2 feet tall, just starting to thicken and get crystals on now.

1000watt 400watt HPS temps are between 86 and 95 degree F ???? too hot maybe its very humid aswell is this gonna affect things?? thanks for the reply by the way

Yeah id say thats kinda hot. You never want to get above 84 id say between 78 and 68 would be the sweet spot in the room.The lower the temp in the res the more rich in oxygen it will be.

Bump the feeder tubes up against the side of the rockwool a lil less than half way up. You can start from the first day but with no nutes. Make sure its just a trickle coming out of the feeder tubes, just enough to keep the rockwool damp. Id wait for the other one; some grow faster than others.good day bubbleheads

hey what kinda tents yall using the reason i asked is just ive seen alot post about tents being a death trap and a lot of grow tents are being recalled i read that on here and when i went to buy a tent the guy at hydroponic store told the same he recomended the homebox growlab

Leave the pump to the feeder tubes on and let the system do the work. You dont have to do anything till you see a couple sets of true leaves. leave the lights off till you see a sprout.
