The boys in blue (white, in this matter) came pounding on my door last night. I didn't answer (the house reeks of smoke), but decided to get rid of them. I can be patient and wait until a good opportunity comes along. My current residence is too "hot." I have learned a lot and I'm more confident in my abilities, devastated at the loss (especially my biggest girl, she was all grown up). Eh, what can you do. You win some, you lose some. At least I didn't really lose this time.

I really appreciate everyone's help and could not have gotten as far as I did without you. I'll still be around, and I'll be growin' with you all again in no time.

Very smart, mature decision. You can always try again if you still have your freedom. =)

Im hoping someone can help me out. I have a few seedlings that are not looking good. I have never had seedlings with this problem so if anyone can help that would be great. I have them in a DWC using advanced nutrients A abd B grow at 400 PPM and the ph is 5.3-6.3 with an air stone and a pump running a micro sprinkler. It is like a product called a "rain forest bucket" Its like 65.00 so I just made my own. I wanted to use feeder tubes but couldnt find a irigation hub around here to save my life. So if you can help that would be great. Oh and new pics of the others I have flowering are in my Hawaii med grow link.

im away for the week
i had to change res
but im was away
so my wife did it
the problems is
i was using botanicare products
and my wife used the fire and forget bloom and micro that comes frm sh
im stressed about it
i came to far for this
and she broke 3 bud site
the mini cola and a lower bud site
my question is?
how bad will the no name brands nutes effecty my plant?
or will it?
i told her to use the botanicare
im afraid to ask her to change res again and flush to put botanic back in after break 3 bud sites
will they be ok on sh nutes?

Gstatus806: It may be a bit stressed initially because of what you described, but don't overheat and loose sight of the end goal. Just be specific with your wife about what is needed, how much is needed and the plant will survive. Sorry to hear about loosing the bud sites! I would advise having your wife monitor the mutes already in the dcw bucket. If no froth and no ph changes out of the norm, no substantial worries or loss. The. Plant will recover, prob. Fairfly quickly too with the DWC Hydroponics method. Good luck. Like they say, each one teach one. If you trusted your wife to know about the plant, then I would advise to also trust her to learn from her mistakes in your absense. Trust me. I've been on hiatus for a similiar reason....but I'm back and ready to help/learn. How old is your plant?

If you need a irragation hub check out home depot they have them for about 10 bucks, and plenty of other parts that can be used for bubblers...

Thanks but I went to all the big box places and couldnt find one. I did see one from lowes online that Im going to order.

I'm not familiar with AN so I really couldn't help you there. Are you using tap, RO, Distilled? Is that spinkler on 24/7 or is it on a timer?

Do you remember seeing small rust spots on those bottom leaves before it looked like that?

They'll be fine for the week. As long as the pH is kept around 5.8-6.5 they'll be just fine

no timer its on 24/7. I use tap water that sits out for a day. Its ppm is 150. No I didnt see any rust spots or anything at all for that matter. they almost did it over night.

Does anyone have a closeup of a bud/trichs on harvest day? Pretty sure I harvested too early last time, don't want a repeat of that.

Hey Doctor D, I've had this Exact same problem with my White Widow seedling. I can't give you a specific diagnosis, but I can tell you what I've done since to correct it. The main problem I had was muk in the tank, In my pump and hub. So I took everything out, ripped it apart, and cleaned cleaned cleaned. I pretty much followed Rosemans recovery guide to a tee, and have been very careful not to contaminate the res again. Other small issues were res temps and humidity, my res temps were movin from about 73 to 78 when the lights were on. Humidity was also an issue, it use to hang out about 38 %, now I have it at about 50%. I'm sure you've checked most of this but literally, that's how my plant used to look, and she's all better now after correcting these issues. =)

Except for the one leaf, it looks normal to me.

N P K is the same, no matter what brand name, they will be OK.
