Actually, I am really nervous about going beyond the normal 3 part gh that has served me well to this point.
I did a nute change today and the romulan took a turn for the worse.
Not real sure why. All the rest of the girls are looking happy, cept for her. Droopy leaves, branches "weeping"
Kinda on the edge of my seat at the moment....

did you get your measurements from the G-H website calculator? How did you determine how much Diamond nectar to use? Do you add any Cal -Mag?

Nice! You will know for sure if its worth it or not since you have had so much experience without the full lineup already. I am looking forward to seeing the results and hearing what you think. Especially with the roots!
I remember asking you a lot of questions about fertilizing, it gave me, and still does here and there, a real hard time. I finally got a nice poop soup mixture setup for the hydro. Posted the nutrient mixture up on my new journal too if you want to check it out.

I used the nute table from my old waterfarm setup used previously.
The floralicious is a definitely a no go for me.

Well, I was working all day in the garden. I had to make a tough choice regarding the romulan. She is just too damn tall, and grows too damn fast for me to grow indoors. So, I decided she had to go.
I took an 8 pack of clones from her, and chopped her down. Her siblings will populate my outdoor garden once they have developed some nice roots.
I also did some routine pruning. Mostly dead or dying leaves from the powdery mildew situation I am still battling. Another dose of my PM killer should solve it.
The garden seems happier with the romulan out of there. The airflow seems better and the light isnt being monopolized by the rom. all in all, I think it was a good choice.
I will flip to 12/12 in a week or two, depending on how the purple diesel develops, she is the shortest of the 5 and needs to catch up.
So, my indoor girls are as follows:
Blue dream
Purple diesel

Querkle

My nursery
Lemon skunk (GH)
Chocolope (DNA) (praying its a boy, SO chocolaty)

I found a new favorite strain. She is called purple princess. I have searched for seeds but it may be a clone only strain. I guess I will have to make another dispensary hunt.

This is the GH Lemon Skunk, 3 weeks from seed
This is the DNA LA Woman, 3 weeks from seed
This is the DNA Chocolope, 3 weeks from seed and already super chocolatey
This is the GH Great White Shark, 1 week from seed
This is the Mandala Hashberry, 1 week from seed
Next up are my hydro girls, just 10-14 days away from 12/12 as well as a single soil girl.
These have been vegging for a month or so, too lazy to look at the start of this log.
First up, the soil girl, So Gouda by Soma
This is the Purple Diesel, a clone from Harborside in Oaktown, got hit hard from the brown slime and is just now recovering
This is the GDP, also from Harborside
This is the Blue Dream, from Harborside
This lovely lady Is the Querkle clone from Cafe Blue Sky

I had planned on starting flowering tonight but a little fiary brought me some $ and I was able to get some canna professional, so I will be repotting the so gouda , giving her a week to adjust and then will start flowering.

Hey bro I finally caught up on your journal and am way excited as always. What is nice about your grow is I know you will finish it and produce some quality nugs in the process. Your latest pics look really good too, especially for how many plants you have to fit into a small area.
I have used AN in the past, and I just don't think I was skilled enough at the time to use it as I was pretty good at burning my plants with it. Since switching to Botanicare's mostly organic Pro line I haven't experienced the burn problems I had in the past, and the shelf life of my Botanicare nutes seem to last longer at a cheaper price. Thats about all I can really say about either though since I haven't used different nutrients in controlled test environment, blah blah blah.
What is this Querkle strain? Purple Erkle and something? Have you decided if you are going to stay with GH nutes or not?

So..it was bound to happen...after many good runs, I had to completely scrap my hydro girls.
Between the brown slime issues and height issues, I had to cut my losses rather than produce a bunch of substandard smoke. It does kind of suck, a whole freakin month wasted.
But, on the bright side, I learned a valuable lesson, when you change things, do it in small increments, always run a test bucket and done get over excited about strains.
To celebrate this series of epiphany, I celebrated by ordering some new seeds from Sanni's . I went with the Herijuana and the chocolate rain, already looking forward to their arrival.
Querkle is a TGA/subcool strain, I cant find the link to a post he did about it but here is the link for the profile from the attitude:

I am sticking with GH, have had some financial setbacks and can't really afford the AN line right now...perhaps sometime...just not today
