nah but ive been around plenty of them. as you can see there not much to them. pretty much just a "crankshaft" in the middle of that, with a triangle rotor in each of those silver sections, and they spin all weird inside a oval housing.

my neighbor across the street from my parents house when i was growing up was some big wig at subura and would always have new subbies parked out front for years and years..

New "mini" addition to the family 
It's got some pretty bad vibration at the higher rpms so I need to take a look at it, could be the tranny, engine might not be aligned just right, feels like the chain needs some lube and it's missing the back break foot lever which I can buy online for about ten bucks so that's no problem. It is so loud though, I was riding it around and you can hear it half a mile to a mile+ away depending on how hard you're riding it. Usually they have this almost electric calm sound to this one and this thing sounds as good as a Harley, I love it! It's weird though because they come as a 1 down 3 up tranny and this one is 4 up, checked the engine and it looks like the stock one but I need to remove the plastics and get a full look at it to check the vibration and to see if the engine is aftermarket. Apparently the first owner, I am now the third, attempted to out run the cops with it and landed it in a ditch which is why it's missing the windshield but that doesn't effect anything, actually if I had it on I'm not sure if I would be able to see the dials. Haven't done a speed test or even bothered to remove the governor yet because like I said, not even sure if this is the stock motor and I was just playing around with it a little around the area, it's a blast to ride holy crap!

yeah I got him down to 450 for it. I'm not sure, they come 110 stock but this sounds way different than the stock motors so I need to remove the fairings and check out the motor. I'll probably do that tomorrow, it's cold and dark out so I'm not feeling it tonight lol. I'm hoping to get a camera set up so I can do a couple videos on it and I'm having my friend who knows these things inside out come over tomorrow to help me check out that vibration and we might go for a ride.lol nice! hope you picked it up for a good price since it was crashed into a ditch
When I take it to that biker bar I'm gonna scare the shit out of some Harley dudes, they'll make fun of the size and when I start it and give it a rev they'll shut right up lol. It's pulling like a 150cc and it sits really low so I feel they had to mod the frame to get the larger engine in and if that's the case that might be causing the vibration if they didn't line it in right. I'm tempted to take it for a night ride because it has head lights with high and low beams but it's so loud someone will prob complain

Agreed, plenty of the imports sound like a high power sewing machine, just like their bikes.Oh, come on, the sound of a 427 Yenko SC I would take ANYDAY over the imports, no matter what the branding on the fender.
Ya, you have a point, there's is a lot to be said for modern technology, turbos, intercoolers, popoff valves, etc., but I was raised with normally aspirated engines, and I guess that's what I'll die with.

ya some of their cars sound pretty bad but their bikes sound beautiful. unlike those harleys. YUCK! it took me years to figure out what a harley sound can be compared to and i finally figured it out about a year ago.
a harley sounds like a bare ass fart on a cheap leather couch. guess how i figured that one out lol
