The Cat Got Into My Grow!

Well things were going awesome....

Had 4 plants in early veg....growing like crazy. They were the last pretty things I looked at before I got into bed. Just starting to get a nice aroma. Woke up this morning to a Horror move!!
My heart sunk in my chest, my largest and healthiest was heavily Mauled and the other 3 were chomped pretty heavily as well.

There are still some leaves and i believe they will make it, but goodness gracious, the amount of stress the are going threw!

I got mad at the cat, but I also must be mad at myself for not keeping him out. It's probably too irresistible for him to leave alone!

Well I was hoping my first post would be a positive one, but hey I'll have a lot more to come! Thanks for having me everyone!

He has been in the room for weeks now, when I was hanging out with my buddy last night he started telling me about his story of his cats wrecking his plants, then exactly the next morning I find this! Total Jynx man! I need to watch what me and him discuss! Haha

The internet let me down today.. Was looking for a dead cat in a canvas bag and couldn't find anything remotely appropriate

Terry, have you had your feline friend in with your plants much before? Are you always with him or does it ever have a chance to be alone with them? My friend says he has never had a cat that won't eat the leaves. He has had a lot of cats over the years

I was just wondering, couldn't a cat being even near your indoor grow bring spider mites?

Sorry to hear. Losing plants is depressing.

I know this guy, he makes the best homemade Chinese food around. We use to have a really bad alley cat problem until about a year ago, when he move in. Again... great food. Yum!

This is a TRUE STORY, you can look it up yourselves; there was a Chinese restaurant in the resort town of Jackson, WY that was the victim of a vicious rumour that raced around town about exactly this; that they were taking cats from neighborhoods and hanging them up in the walk-in cooler.

The local health department responded immediately, made a surprise inspection and found exactly nothing of the sort was going on. In fact, the report showed the restaurant was run reasonably well from a food safety practices standpoint.

That was not enough to save the restaurant. Business vanished and they closed a few months later, the damage done, the Chinese family owner operators bankrupted through no fault of their own. Even in a tourist town.

Moral of the story; Wyoming cowboys will believe any simple ass, country hick, racist as Fuck thing they hear. That's NOT stereotype, it's long personal experience, up close with the thankfully rare breed (#50 in population).

There are enlightened Wyomans; they are thin on the ground because once they wise up, they generally leave if they can.
