Hi mate, and does your bava have the funky messed up back to front switches? LolYeah same boards. They’re nice.
Those are pretty slick man. I think you’d be happy.Hi Bud
How do you like the Bava lights?
I was looking at 2 boards (2 x 120w) for my 2x4 tent.
These ones:
cheers
Idk. They seem proper. UhhhhhHi mate, and does your bava have the funky messed up back to front switches? Lol
I was wanting 2 lights so I can set them at different height if need be, for 2 plants in a 2x4 tent.. so each plant has 2x2 to itself. Those are pretty slick man. I think you’d be happy.
That or a 320watt Meijiu bar light. 4 bar even..if you had to do custom would be the cats ass in a 2x4.
Lights pay for themselves the first run.
Then those would be ideal bud.I was wanting 2 lights so I can set them at different height if need be, for 2 plants in a 2x4 tent.. so each plant has 2x2 to itself.
i did consider bars before but I think been able to individually change height would benefit me.. right now I have a northern lights and a cbd tonic Ryder on the go, both started at same time and one is about 10” taller than the other.
Got a pic of your switch setup if possible please mate?Idk. They seem proper. Uhhhhh
Just looked, no mine are older. I can’t switch off 660 & 730. No matter. They produce dense frosties.
I just saw it wrong, that's all. Thought the check mark was for what's right of it, not the left.just seen this Bava delivery pic from earlier on the thread, not exactly discreet shipping is it

Looking at some of their listings they state the uv is 385nm.. so no much use?Think most of the china uv is based around an lg 390-400nm diode. Asked several times att kbre 420 and no joy.
How about the ir on these kingbrite and Meiju? Are they worth it or just redsSo a standard 3500k LM301H with osram reds would be fine then... I guess if someone (hlg or China) comes out with a board with proper proven legit uv chips on it I could just buy that and fit to a current bava heatsink.. they all seem to have the same hole spacings. Then I’m not left with all them switch holes that are labeled wrong.
Id use it. only that i also want 420 for stomata targeting.Looking at some of their listings they state the uv is 385nm.. so no much use?
im pretty sure they are seventhirty nm far reds and not real IR. ive not seen it on any fixture, but you can get eightfifty IR on strips from cutter. not sure of the actual value. Its running now on the grow i work with but theres no comparison side, the other side is CMH which already have IR. Cant go there and see for myself as im still in lockdown. Looks like Barcelona will be last out of lockdown in all of spain. How about the ir on these kingbrite and Meiju? Are they worth it or just reds
The driver can be remotely placed by extending the 2wire DC side. They may be able to accommodate you if you ask them.Looking to get a 240w and was wondering if you can get a longer cord to mount the ballast outside a tent?
sucks they didn't just add a dimmer to the spider farmer.. advertising it as dimmable but conveniently not telling people you have to unscrew the driver from the heatsink to get to the pot... fuk themI am quite happy with Archibald. Their 220W is next to my Spider Farmer SF-1000, not really much difference except the Archibald came with a dimmer lol (I got the straight 3000k on purpose, they have the mix like the SF....which has no option)
That's so dope you can go all one cctI am quite happy with Archibald. Their 220W is next to my Spider Farmer SF-1000, not really much difference except the Archibald came with a dimmer lol (I got the straight 3000k on purpose, they have the mix like the SF....which has no option)
Yeah I wouldn’t buy them now, not even the price I got them for. Live and learn.....but I don’t see any difference in the Archibald boards so...yeah why go anywhere else?sucks they didn't just add a dimmer to the spider farmer.. advertising it as dimmable but conveniently not telling people you have to unscrew the driver from the heatsink to get to the pot... fuk them
