Hey weeds, see some new boards in there. V3 fotops with reds? Do you see any real performance difference? I threw this one together from a few spares for a friend a week ago. Alu backed them in case he wanted to spread them out laterWhat’s up guys!?
Been busy but hope you all are doing well.
i don’t notice a difference lol but my last grow wasn’t too great.Hey weeds, see some new boards in there. V3 fotops with reds? Do you see any real performance difference? I threw this one together from a few spares for a friend a week ago. Alu backed them in case he wanted to spread them out later
You are on the right track!hello, riu!!! hello, this thread!!! I try not to post much, especially with questions, but I really need to know... ive never ordered from Alibaba, im not so familiar with led tech, im ready for new lights, and ive been reading this thread for the past 3 days... I have like 10 alibaba tabs open right now, 2 riu tabs, 3 hlg tabs etc... my brain is running... okay now with the business... I have a 40"x144" (3.3'x12') grow space... I am wanting to upgrade from my 600 hps + 2 315cmh to led... im looking at the qb 240 watt thinking of running 6 of them... single dad on a budget so I maybe order 3 at a time... im seeing a lot of good reviews from meijiu… now im stuck at lm301b vs lm301h, and on top of that theres ones with epistar added red, Osram added red, uv, ir, etc etc etc... was looking for any type of help on my situation from you more experienced with led tech... if I should be going with diff lights, or if the added reds even matter... please and thank you, any help would be greatly valued... until then im busting my brain with this, while chasing my kids around the house, cleaning, cooking, and growing.... stay safe and grow big
I'm sure you could pay lots less, but I have no doubt you wouldn't get the results you want. If you think 150 is expensive, you will shit your pants when you see the HLG prices.on Alibaba now speaking with a doris duan from meijiu... she is quoting me for x3 240w qb288 lm301h v4 with added reds, uv, and ir $150 each... which is cool... and $142 for shipping... does this sound correct??? should i speak with someone else??? any better solutions??? i am not liking/ nor was expecting that much... was thinking maybe half of that... idk i may be crazy, im a virgin here.... i asked could she help, and i think she got smart, lol
If its shipping and all import fees included (Vat etc) id say not too shabby.on Alibaba now speaking with a doris duan from meijiu... she is quoting me for x3 240w qb288 lm301h v4 with added reds, uv, and ir $150 each... which is cool... and $142 for shipping... does this sound correct??? should i speak with someone else??? any better solutions??? i am not liking/ nor was expecting that much... was thinking maybe half of that... idk i may be crazy, im a virgin here.... i asked could she help, and i think she got smart, lol
Awesome man! I’m excited to see how the geek light fixtures perform. I’ve always liked the technology they incorporate into their fixtures so it will be cool to see it in action!Hey everyone. I just got my geeklight pro yesterday morning. I was a busy boy yesterday. I mixed up about 150 gallons of soil by hand yesterday for myself and a friend. I also bought a City Pickers SIP planter from home depot to give it a side by side to the fabric pots. It'll all have the same soil, and water/molasses and a feeding of compost tea 1x a week...as for the sip pot I will hand feed the tea as it will curdle underneath from what I read as it'll sit...unless I stuff an air stone beneath in the res..(may try this out later on another grow but for now I'll stick to this REGI to see what the results would be.) The soil will sit for 4 to 6 weeks depending on weather conditions here in Massachusetts. If it's a cooler less sunny month I'll go 6weeks...if it's a decent beginning to summer I'll go 4. Moistening the soil every few days or as needed. Any questions feel free to ask. I'll do my best to video/pics from here on out on any of the major FAQ about setup and how I do things. Stay frosty y'all it's a slow start to the season but we're hitting it hard.

I run mine by Z wave and Alexa. I create different scenes to do different things. Like when the lights are out I will observe the humidity build up and then create scenes that control the fan when to turn on and how long I want it to run. I also have scenes for the red strips to come on before and after the main lights. It's very cool being able to set things exactly how you want them.Oh for sure. The Bluetooth sold me honestly. I was tired of shitty timers failing or not lasting longer than just a few grows...everything's accessible to my phone which makes things that much more user friendly. I'll post a full video when my tent comes in and I hang it up I'll mess with the app and whatnot so everyone can see how it works...I'll film from my go pro or maybe my old phone and wifi upload it...we'll see.
Hope they work out well for you dude. I've just received three more lights today, quantum board ones from geeklight, a 320 and two 240s. They seem good so far only issue is they cannot be turned off remotely, but they can be dimmed down. It just means I have to plug in using a regular timer that all.thanks fellas... x3 240w qb288 v4 are on the way, from meijiu… I will report back... and if all is good I cant wait to get 9 more... thanks this thread saved my life... @PrimeUK it was worth it from the jump... i would've/ and did pay the $145 shipping... was just asking yall if it sounded right... this is my first time...
The light is running well dude, really happy with the plants. It's early days but the plants seem to be budding nicely, real good growth even on lower branches. Using a single hps, they would have been shaded and removed, but now the plants are all bathed in light so I'm allowing the plants to grow a little more naturally, usually id be forced to scrog to keep them away from the heat of the hps.Oh for sure. Hell yeah bro. I germed 100 seeds in paper towels and Ziploc. EVERY LAST ONE POPPED! Had to go to the hydro store for a rapid rooter tray and dome so I could get em all going. I was having a little trouble setting up the device...idk if you had any issues or if it was that simple...I just can't seem to stay connected to it unless I'm inches away from it. Idk...bought a digi timer just in case I can't figure shit out in time and I have to send the Bluetooth thing ba k to ha e another brought in. C.Y.A. always. LolTh
