4x Kingbrite 240w QB288. Strips will give you more even coverage though. Can anyone recommend boards for a 4x8 veg tent? For now I'm using these 250w HollandStar Cob panels I got off Amazon way back but they put out a fair bit of heat. I only own strip panels for flowering but I'd like to go with some of those QB's for the space to get the temps lower and intensity up.

Damn bro im sorry that happened to you. This was my biggest fear coordinating logistics with some of the suppliers and the shortages can cause nightmares especially with lead times of like 5-15 days.Nothing to do with the B or H. I asked him because I just paid the same price as he did and got the LM561C since they told me that the LM301's were out of stock.
I contacted them well before the Chinese holidays started and was told about the shortage. I then had to wait 8 days because everything shut down. Once they got back I was told they were still out of stock, but the panel would ship in 5 days guarenteed. They had my $940 CAD within 20 minutes. 9 days later I finally get the tracking number that they shipper just received the package info.
Now this "Helen" gal is saying the lm301b's are back in stock meanwhile the panel I paid the same price for is still sitting there with the diodes I didn't want. Is what it is.
It's all good bro, at least they're samsung. I'm glad they increased the diode count to compensate for the intensity differential. The communication is allot better with Hortibloom I find. Helen answered my msg at 11:30 her time to try to resolve it.Damn bro im sorry that happened to you. Thanks man I'll check those out right now!4x Kingbrite 240w QB288. Strips will give you more even coverage though.
Basically I was thinking of cutting off their switch and inserting a programmable bluetooth switch. I just don't know exactly what to search for, kinda a waste to have UV/IR with no programmable switches, I think. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/LoraTap-Wireless-Control-Required-100-250VAC/dp/B07PLQ25BT/ref=sr_1_38?dchild=1&keywords=bluetooth+relay+switch&qid=1603545291&sr=8-38If it comes with the board i dont think you can set a timer to it. Its just a switch
lol piece of cake!...Not exactly china boards but ill post it:
Current build for a client: 2000k flower spectrum, 3750 vegg, 660+730 on one mono channel and uv 390 on the other mono channel. A bitch to get it all screwed in. View attachment 4724740
Its just over 40" wide, goes in a 4x4. The equivalent of 8.5 qbs in white diodes and over 300 monos. Wiring is going to be a major hassle, 6 wires per strip, 28 total...
the problem is that they should not be more than 100cm long, since I use a 1m2 tent and for price i take 2x 240w quantum board and regulate the power
I think kingsbright makes 950mm strips, so it fit inthe problem is that they should not be more than 100cm long, since I use a 1m2 tent and for price i take 2x 240w quantum board and regulate the power
Just curious, did you order the 3k or the 3500k spectrum. ThanksNot been on here in a while, but things are going well. I'm not even sure if I told you the results of my harvest a few weeks ago
Under the Geekbeast 630 and the monsterboard 320 I pulled 25 Oz total. Very happy as the plants were all varying sizes and mostly untrained
I have now pretty much maxxed out my 2x2 area with light, running the geekbeast630, two 320w qb and two 240 watt qb. All are dimmed to 70 percent and all is well.
No link and I can't seem to find it on YouTubeHave you seen the migro review of the Geekbeast. Very good review as I knew it would be. Check it out on YouTube
So my 650w Hortibloom showed up today...
The panel looks sexy compared to the grey Meijiu's but the mounting setup is a joke. The hinge/folding hardware they use is bulky af and looks like something Grandpa would have on a DIY tool box. The threads on the Eyelets that the hangers connect to are far too long. They dont flush up to the frame so there are quite a few threads showing which makes it look poorly done.
Hortibloom has 2-point cable slings that they sent but when you use them you end up losing almost 1' of headroom. I had to use x4 yo-yo connectors. They also have brackets that slide down on each end of the frame and that's what the eyelets thread into. Unfortunately there is no reference mark as to where the center of the panel is so there is multiple adjustments needed in order to level the fixture. I know i bitched about Meijiu's being a PITA to level especially when you dont have access to all 4 sides, but I'd still rather mount a Meijiu VS a Hortibloom now.
It also came with the Inventronics driver which says 600w max yet their dimmer says 650w and they advertise it as 650. The dimmer appears to work far better in the lower %'s than my Meijiu's do.
I asked for 3500k (same as my A8's) but these look like an HPS compared to my other panels. Super orange VS the white of my Meijiu's. There is a substantial more amount of visible red diodes on the Horti's but I'm surprised in the difference between the two.
I'll take some pics once I get back to the pad tonight.
All in all so long as the performance is there, the cosmetic issues are minor. Just makes a guy question what he's really getting when paying this much for a panel where the small things that shouldn't be an issue end up sticking out.
Neither.....pls don't do it from Alibaba. You can buy Chinese if that's what you want. However, buy through an American vendor and save yourself a lot of grief. What's your budget and why those two?Not to be dumb but if you were going to be buying another light today which would you choose the meijiu or the kingbrite?
