You have too much time and money, go get a real job.I am definitely a hater of copy companies in China that are a pack of thieves, that is absolutely 100% correct.

That's 135 for 540 chips where I'm paying 46 delivered to door after customs.View attachment 4309021 what am I missing? 4 boards for $135, a driver will cost about the same amount, so that's $270. How are you saving anything with a purchase from China?
If you purchased 2 kits how would it go price wiseThat's 135 for 540 chips where I'm paying 46 delivered to door after customs.
Also ...
Most importantly is that HLG will replace and stand behind their products whether shipping issue or other. Let’s see if wangs house of led will “ gladly “ accept returns ( at whatever the ship rate is going back to them ) in mainland China. Also see many stories from buyers having sellers arguing the authenticity and performance of their product .... your $10 buck savings just vaporized.
Any fool should know that whatever “ price savings “ you get is often connected to a “ corner cutting move “ in fit and finish. Vf differences , wonky solder masking , general quality overall.
HLG consistently “ adds “ new product offerings , liquidating the earlier boards and kits .
To hell with that flea market bazaar setting on alibaba. My money is spent on the company that stands behind their products , from user feedback , and customer service.
Buying “ trinkets “ from pop up store / vendors will always be a gamble. There are literally dozens of these bullshit led “ storefronts “ on alibaba that have the same pics , the same board “ descriptions “ as each other ....... clones of clones of clones.
HLG makes this one product .... and is perfecting it every time they bring it up for purchase. They test , post results on their gear.
How much is that worth to you ?

Min order is 50. That's the only downside. But at those prices I'm using double the ammount of chips HLG is using and getting even better efficiency even when comparing lm561c to lm301b. And still being cbeaper. What's missing is Chinese produce these and HLG is reselling them. So they need to get their product from China first to sell it world wide. I'm just cutting out the middle man that is charging the difference in price. It's too cheap, even for China. They are getting something done very cheap there that's missing. $46 I can understand but not with the freight.
Minimum order of 50 is a bit different to 12, even then it's very cheap, at some stage this company is going to fuck you guys up cause that's what they do.Min order is 50. That's the only downside. Not sure when it will happen but the ones that get caught are going to know about it. The LED's will not be the same as HLG, I really don't like Chinese copy companies and I think everyone can see that.
At some stage something will give and the ones that get caught taking the risk will be pissed.
No way that company produces genuine hlg boards
It was 4 boards for $135 from hlg btw. That's a very fair price.
I think HLG is paying less, but they are no longer manufactured in China it seems. I bet 100% it's manufactured differently with different LED's, but it's really difficult for me to sell taking care of the inventors at that price also extra quality.Technically illiterate?
I stated I'm paying for 540 chips (4x135) but with 96 chips on a board instead of 135. And it's 47.80 not 46. Not that it makes any difference.
Oh that must be true because you just did the math...I just did the math on the chip price alone. Its still too cheap, something is definitely missing with those boards
nah..incorrect analogyThe difference between an HLG board and a Meijiu board is the same as the difference between PH down and vinegar.
That's my point... the difference is marginal at most.nah..incorrect analogy
there is only a percentage of diode efficiency difference and not a giant one either that can be easily over come by more panels
