Planet Earth is not
Isaac Newton first proposed that Earth was not perfectly round. Instead, he suggested it was an oblate spheroid—a sphere that is squashed at its poles and swollen at the equator. He was correct and, because of this bulge, the distance from Earth's center to sea level is roughly 21 kilometers (13 miles) greater at the equator than at the poles.

Instead of Earth being like a spinning top made of steel, explains geologist Vic Baker at the University of Arizona in Tucson it has "a bit of plasticity that allows the shape to deform very slightly. The effect would be similar to spinning a bit of Silly Putty, though Earth's plasticity is much, much less than that of the silicone plastic clay so familiar to children."

Our globe, however, is not even a perfect oblate spheroid, because mass is distributed unevenly within the planet. The greater a concentration of mass is, the stronger its gravitational pull, "creating bumps around the globe," says geologist Joe Meert at the University of Florida in Gainesville.images (1).jpgTFES.jpg maxresdefault.jpg

Lifted from the following article:

The relevance of the images you added needs explaining; the one representing the earth as a disc in particular.

Perhaps it is you who are rude. At best, what the hell else do you want when you raise such stupid shit up the flagpole. Of course people are going to not hold back on such blind and blatant stupidity.

Get smarter or get thicker skin

Its not that I don't have thick skin I'm just pointing out that some of you are very rude about a theory. I honestly could care less about the trash anyone is talking lol.

It's a stupid theory. Very stupid.

Your promoting it clearly speaks to education, gullibility, and mental stability.

Rational, even minimally educated stable people haven't shared this ridiculous idea since the 1500s

Let me go ahead and shut this down. In the end it is a philosophical debate because matter can be changed by us simply observing it so in a way our earth is both flat and round. It all in closing really does not matter because it can never be proven.

Wrong again. You don't get your own earth and you don't control its shape. This simply demonstrates how willing you are to suspend facts, logic, and science as a whole just to suit this profoundly obtuse idea if yours.

And it's certainly is proven countless times by countless studies that the world is a sphere.

Sorry you're too far out in the weeds
