The easiest and the cheapiest way to grow

You could try using a wick, put a dish of water above the plant with a piece of cotton cloth pushed into the soil. I’ve never done this but you have time to experiment with the method.

Coco + perlite, about $11
GH Flora trio pints, about $30
pH up/down + test drops, $15
CaliMagiC quart, about $15

Line a closet with panda film, $20 tops
A decent enough 300w LED fixture, lets say $200
4 inch inline fan + filter about $50
Couple small clip fans, $15

That's just over 300 and would absolutely sustain 3 plants.

I was able to keep 6 plants relatively watered for 10 days using this method. I do believe that was about the furthest length of time you can push it though. 2 week max IMO.

How cheap is cheap? Nobody wants to spend lot of money so what's your budget? You may not care about quantity but what about quality? The route your going is questionable to me IMO, I would rather pend a few bucks more and guarantee a smokable harvest than to be as cheap as possible and choke.

With that said at least go with a better light, the best you can afford. Look on the deals forum, they pump out cheap lights on a daily basis. They recently had a deal on a 100 watt light for $7.00 you could have bought two and been OK. Not perfect but cheap! I think I saw something about you leaving for 30 days, good luck! Look into a autopot easy2go kit $30.00 then add a reservoir, hint you can make a reservoir just buy a tall plastic trash can (dark) and fill it with water and a 1/4 dose of nutrients and cross your fingers. You saw bugs right, well Neem Oil is around $10-15 and without it you may have bugs eating your plant at the roots. Or worst you may end up with a house or room full of gnats or whatever. Where is your grow in relation to where you sit and watch tv or sleep? Hate to be watching the game feeling like something is crawling on me. The point I'm making is that decent grow takes 4 months in the best of conditions and longer in worse conditions. A decent grow requires time and effort, why waste your time? You have to consider what your time is worth when you talk bout cheap.

Not trying to hate, I wish you the best of luck. The plant looks ok to me so far, close tight spacing between nodes is what you want anyway.

Think that your salary is about 550 dollars :/

I have done it before. Stuning or drowning may be in a question with that method. Cuz when i came back , i felt that no progress at the plant.

Just the experiments i had. I have been reading, learning and preparing the tools i will need. It takes a little long here. Specially in hard conditions. Soil . Nutrients , ph adjuster, lights, timers and so on. They may not be so expensive in some countries but in some others are. I do not see this wasting time i find effective ways and experiencing that u had.

U r absolutely right about the quality and quantity i havent looked from this view. Gonna consider these factors too. Easy2go was a good advice, thx for it too. When i back from holiday things gonna be fully finished and will have 9 months to grow. Let's wait and see :weed:

I don't know enough to help with a plant problem, but if you're gonna be gone for extended periods of time scrap that nutrient plan. You won't be around to check ph! Consider Advanved Nutrients ph perfect. MICRO, GROW and BLOOM then you won't need to worry about ph, and all three cost less than the stuff your looking at. Forget the calmag too, use Epsom salt. Definitely don't buy a cheap ph pen if you just gotta have one. I bought a cheap ph pen and I can tell you it's useless! I can check the same solution 10 times and get 10 different results in ten minutes. While you veg use Neem oil as a foliar spray and spray the top of the soil too, that will help get rid of most pest. Also during veg concentrate on your root growth makes that lady strong and healthy. During bloom try not to spray anything on your buds, food safe isn't smoke safe! Grab molasses and add that every other feed. Lastly everybody just has to have something that promises big, tasty buds right? Grab some Floralicious if you must, I got lucky and found a tiny bottle for 3.99. It doesn't take much. If you have a hydro store near by don't be afraid to ask for free samples, I have a case full of free additives and supplements.

When you want something nowadays google it twice and look for it on Amazon. Then wait a half day and you will start seeing advertisements in you Facebook feeds, and on YouTube and everywhere else you look. Check out the advertiser section and the deals section and you will see cheap lights everywhere if your doing 4x4 or smaller you want a minimum of 200 watts at the wall. That means look for a light that has 2000 in the description (sf2000) look for a light that is long and wide as it spreads the coverage. A light that measures 11x7x3 is more than likely going to focus straight down more than anything else. A decent cheap light will measure 24x24x4. Don't worry about PAR value either case in that price range your not getting accurate information anyway. If your not gonna spend big on your light then your key measurements are wall wattage and coverage area. Remember its a weed, put it near a window and it will grow without a light. Oh my light suggestion is good for up to a 4x4 area and that's pushing it for a cheap light. Bloom area is alway a foot smaller than veg area.
