It’s buisness so only 3 days but there is a reef and some flats where I’m staying so hopefully. As soon as this covid shit ends I’ll go again. Daughter lives there so it’s a semi cheap vacation. Left a bit of tackle there last time (before covid) never thinking it would be 2.5 years

I managed to get out fishing today tf, early morning to dusk, 12lb 11oz for 3 rainbow trout + 1 wbt (released) and a wee jack pike (released)... A great day, the 1st fish I connected with was circa 5lb with a hard af take then attitude afterwards I was fkg beaming its what I've needed.
I don't normally photograph rainbow trout unless it's out of the ordinary, they're stocked, I'm drifting covering ground and I've got a dodgy back, however a lovely wbt demands a picture regardless...

Fk me... You couldn't make it up, the fish looks pretty ordinary until my hands in the picture... And said picture is a shocker
But you get the idea it's a beauty.

The blood was just superficial. Got.her in the roof of the mouth with top hook and she bled a bit but it clotted quick and she swam to eat another day.
