That fish has that sporty look to it , are they hard fighting fish?View attachment 5086916King Mackerel
Yes one of the fastest,We fish with 2 rods from a stationary pier. One with anchor and one (fighting rod) with a release clip and a live bait that can only swim in circles. On strike a respectable one can take 200 yds of line so fast levelwind can't be used,it will blow offThat fish has that sporty look to it , are they hard fighting fish?
They don't look it , and most wouldn't think it but they are voracious predators .The one with the line has a 4 once spro bucktail with a 6 inch gulp grub in there.
Damn dude ! You guys don't mess around ! Impressive set up .View attachment 5086957Rigging allows many to fish close together.
Man can see some horrific tangles happening on that pier.View attachment 5086957Rigging allows many to fish close together.
Not as often as you think,I've seen 15 trophy fish landed in one day and maybe one or two gets tangled. The anchor lines are way out so they usually don't come into play. Its a problem when a fish strikes and gets the line in the neighboring bait.Man can see some horrific tangles happening on that pier.
