The French Cannoli` Hash Thread

really wish I lived in USA. Will you ever come do a workshop in Canada Frenchy? Vancouver or perhaps Montreal?

I make great hash already but I would love the learn the art of press 2 activate. :)

Internet is great for learning but I feel like I could soak up so much more knowledge in person. smelling and feeling the hash. seeing it with my eyes.

I am supposed to be a speaker at one of your event in August if that become reality I will most certainly hold a workshop at the same time. I wouldn't need much of an excuse to come and visit you guys.

I know im supportin ya lol. Ive been a pretty good hash man for awhile. Been trying new things lately and i truely appreciate ur perspective on the resin collecting process. Its very refreshing and has allowed me to look at the process from a different angle.

Much thanx, and if u ever make it to AZ in the future. If u remember post an alert up on the thread :D
I will. All the best

Considering the 3000 mile distance between Vancouver and Montreal ,I selfishly hope it will be the latter. However with the culture in BC I imagine Vancouver is more likely.

You could have press this beautiful resin a tad more. If you look closely you can see a light "sandiness" in the melted resin. That's the resin heads that have not been pressed correctly. You have to press 2-3 times minimum depending on the amount of resin pressed

Can any other factors lead to that like amount of heat or pressure being used? I pressed it out 5 times.

Any harm done if I go back and repress it? I have it set aside to cure right now.

You just need to learn to read your resin and for that it is really important to hand press a few time to experience the change happening in the resin with all your senses so that it will be easier to use your eyes only when you press with a bottle of boiling water.
If your resin was dried properly and has not waxed there is no problem doing it, not recommended as best method but not a danger to final quality

Great information!
Many thanks Frenchy. I am ordering my Bolt Bags and washer ASAP.
Would my end product's quality suffer if I omit the 160 bag? So just used the 190 as a material catch, the 45 for full spectrum hash, and the 25 for edibles?

Thanks for spending your time with us Saturday Frenchy.

I sincerely enjoyed the Swiss TSU.. super mellow buzz awesome texture and color. Beyond that it was awesome checking out all the types and textures, compairing and, of course, watching a master at work at his trade.

I cant wait to see more of those awesome chunks right out of the machine.

Peace

Tim

If you do not mind are you using the "Scientific" model or the "home" model?

I repressed my bubble hash after 2 weeks of curing, divided it up and rolled it into balls to cure for another 2 weeks. I had to try a sample of it and it's delicious, I'm so glad I tried this method! I used a variety of strains but the terpenes all blended well and just linger on the tongue. Its full melt, has the smoothness of vaporizing and has me floating in the clouds right now. Thanks for sharing the knowledge Frenchy!
