Try placing some in your hand and add a very small drop of water and try pressing by hand

Your not soaking your hash, your just adding a very very small drop of water you can always dry it back out, you can clean dirty dry sift by placing in a glass of water the hash will sink and the impurities will float my point is water will not hurt your trichomes as long as you remove it right away or as fast as you can, most people would tell you not to bother since you've baked it in the oven its basically only good for edibles

water dosent hurt trichomes, but do degrade terpenes! when you press like frenchy does you *seal the deal* you fusion evrything together and lock it down, no humidity will ever fuse into it, and no humidity will comme out (on a cellular level) so when you do that you lock moisture into your trichs, leading inevitably too mold... what i seem too have understood from frenchies technique, correct me if im wrong

yeah, he do this too tweak his texture, the moisture eventuly makes the hash waxy, i dont think it goes away in curing becose of the whole locking in and out thing i was talking about, for your hash too remain sticky shatter style, you must make shure everything has evaporated prior too pressing

Sorry lol I got you mixed up with someone else in a different thread pretty much asking the same thing as you only he tried on his own to make them press and messed them up. he had put his trichome in news paper dipped the paper in water then baked at like 180 for 10 min lol

Dident that help? lol, from what ive learned from frenchy if you fallow evrything correctly, and end up with somthing that does not stick, well that just means, the trichomes weren't of a high enough quality, had this happend too me with machine cut trim, did evrything right, and they just did not seems too want too melt together, they did stick together uniformly, but ended up a very dry crumbly material right after the heat had dissipated, take no offense shawn!! i dont claim im right and your wrong, just giving out my 2 cents. i dont concider myself smart lol i wouldent be writting full complete sentences normaly, i just care about the information im giving you, and want you too really undertand what i understood. and as for the oven, making your hash go threw such *harsh* treatment could do nothing but degrade your stuff, mabey you got a good technique too make it sticky with oven, i dont know never tried. but im shure it would be hurting your trichs.

Thanks for everyone's input! This season's weather has been tricky to work with. High humidity, low temps, cloudy days and now frost on the ground....makes me want to go back to growing indoors sooner than later...I can't wait until I am done harvesting so I can get to the real work ahead -> Making Hash and posting the pics!!!

Man you need to learn to read I said someone else put there hash in the oven and I was trying to help them also and got the 2 confused they cause both were having trouble pressing there very dry or low quality trichomes
There are ways to make poor quality hash press this is what I'm trying to help him do if he doesn't want to try it thats up to him
