Got a total of 4 zips and 20 gs off the big momma hog

Not too shabby for an over vegged momma.

The nugs were pretty dense but not as rock like as my usual. I still have some dialing in to do with this strain and nute system.

I also ran out of snow storm ultra in the first week of flowering so that might also have a little to do with the density because ever since i started usin that my buds come out rock hard.

The strain is pretty leafy but the leaves are COATED in trichs so we left a fair amount of them on.

Definitely a good hash strain from the looks of the leaves if you like trimmin your nugs a little bit closer.

The bud reminds me of a Sharks Breath from DNA i grew out years ago.

I think its because the hog seed came from hogsbreath which was probably a cross of a short fat indica and Jamaican lambsbread which is mostly, if not fully, sativa.

I cant put my finger on the exact smell/flavor yet because its not fully cured.

Rough guess would be whiskey aged bubblegum.... Almost spicy and sweet. Really smooth smoke for just being dried.

Cant wait for the SOG to start. I went to transplant all 10 of my clones that rooted perfectly but lost the bottom to my air pots in a move.

So i could only transplant 4 and still have 4 in veg and the 2 big ones in flower.

Theyre a little smaller than the big momma hog but im hopin to get at least 8 between the 2 of em.

Theyre just coming into the 3rd week of flower. Finished stretching so i can move the light back down a little. (burnt the last one a little)

Im debating whether i should chop off some of the smaller lower branches or just say fuck it and use em for hash.

It doesnt seem too late for it to be worth it since this one takes about 9 weeks to flower. But ive never really done it before, since i lst my plants.

Ill be startin a new journal soon, once the 2 bigger hogs come out of flower and the SOG of HOG starts runnin.

I keep missing the start up to snap some pics in the flower rm
but tonight i will be there to snap my HOG
i would suggest giving them a little lollipop action as the plant is a fucking walking forest the 9 i have look like you could curl up and take a snooze in the canopy very stout there going to be heavyweight buds .
The plant is a walking dustbin apart from a little to green (maybe thats the breed ?)the plant devours anything i am around 900 ppm at the mo on two part hydro farm.
i flush every other day with cal mag ph,ed water from my filter.
I also ad molasses and aloe alternately on feed days .
The trics are very pronounce on a lot of the shade leaves .

thanks! My buds were falling over by the last few days. And yeah every single leaf has just as many trichs as the buds. besides the obviously huge fan leaves.

Def a good hash making strain. ill havesome bho in a couple days.

she sure sucks down the nutes though. I wish i had a full bottle of snow storm ultra cause i feel the buds woulda turned out a little denser. Well that and im still learning this strain.

Havent taken pictures in a while. but ill post some of the finished buds soon.

The Hog pheno I had was slow in veg and was squat short indica. I was gifted a clone from a buddy who had both Jack herer from sensi and the hog from thseeds back around 03-04.
The hog was a honeygram cereal x sandal wood tasting smoke and knockout indica high. Was nice but to slow of a vegger and not that bigger of a yielder either. Nice overall.

i smell the honey cereal youre talking about. mine aee a little more sativa looking and are fast veggers

ive burnt them twice with the light cause they grow so fast.

For sure, your's is a tree compared to my pheno. Would veg for 3-4 weex and they still would finish at like 20" and not a whole lot of side growth. Cheers.

Theyre in .8 gallon air pots and are about 8-12 inches tall. theyve been vegging a little longer than i wanted since they stretch a fair bit in flower. so ill probably just hold them behind and use them as mothers for the actual SOG. The only hard part is finding the room. Might have to do a perpetual of 10-15 per month since my veg tent is small.

Theyre all clones from the big mother that just finished up. Smokin her right now and its waking me up with every hit.

Mine is but the other people who've grown it say they have a more indica dom pheno.

Shes a quick flowerer though for how big she gets. i let her go a little over 65 days but that was because she was a seed and i had a busy schedule so harvesting was delayed a few days. Loves being topped too.

thseeds makes critical hog, which is critical+ x hog. And theyre feminized. I was planning on running them until someone gifted me these seeds.

I love me some grape strains. The diesels may be my favorite for high, but i love that sweet grape flavor from the kings kush i ran. The grape god i grew had hints of that too.

I actually ordered a 5pk of Da Purps about 2 or 3 years ago. Long story short, we got kicked out of the place we were livin and, since they were in a dvd case,also hidden, that had no label, they got lost in the quick move. I was so pissed. They were almost $20 a piece for REG seeds.

But yeah im keepin this hog for a while. Gotta reup on some snow storm ultra and dial in the nutes cause the buds were a little more fluffy than my usual.

Ok i stood in the dark waiting LOL But mission accomplished .these stand nearly 6 feet tall the nine plants look like you could sleep on the canopy

damn those are alot more indica than mine

for a second i thought maybe the seed i had was accidentally crossed with there bubble gum cause it smelled like bubble gum for the first 7 weeks of flower.

and its alot more sativa then the ones ive seen grown

but who knows haha

i was told its a special pheno . of the hog .
But i think they are all special lol.

Out of curiosity where did you get your kings kush? I grew it outdoor last season and it was my favorite plant I have ever grown. Just need to find a good breeder to get another one going. Mine was strongly grape ape, turned crazy purple and red leaves, very grapey taste to it.

I got it from green house seeds.

I figured the OG half would be a little off because of how flooded the market is with "ogs" but the grape ape half has been all over Amsterdam for a while so i figured that pheno would be the true blue, well true purple actually. haha

2 out of 3 turned pretty purple

but one out of them all had actual buds be purple.

Waiting patiently for a smoke report............ it seems like years already. LOL

Or was a detailed smoke report already posted and I missed it. I know you were happy with it......but I don't remember seeing a detailed report.

no smoke report yet. its still curin a little. i have smoked it and its tasty.

Very hashy and hazey almost. Instead of spicy its more deep and subtle like honey with cinnamon.

Its not super smelly so thats why im giving it a little longer to cure so i can more accurately decide the flavor profile. haha fancy talkin

Im smokin it now and its a pretty up lifting high. gets you pretty stoned but not too head rushing or body numbing.

Kinda reminds me of grape god but not as knock you out like with strawberry cough. Very smooth smoke for only a short cure.

Doesnt expand a ton in your lungs so you dont cough. (i rarely cough as it is) probably cause the blunts.

someone described it as honey gram cereal and it def has that smell in it.

All of flowering though it smelled like bubble gum and the ones flowering right now do too.

another few days and i should be able to really smell the flavors.
