The Irish Growers Thread!

Must be powerful gear, I'll see how it plays out. The joys of bad neighbours lol
Anyone ever grow the RQS Royal Ak before?
Yes I have it's good and a very decent yeilder.

Not sure how u will get a photo to work in Ireland with frost and cold weather

Bad neighbors I've had them but fire with fire doesn't work till you have a compound bow and they are you using it for hours shooting a local bag full of old cloths

Bit of a nuisance alright but Feck all you can do until they legalise it.

I'm hoping the AKs will go into flower late August early September , then I might stand some chance

Yeah I noticed that a few years ago when I grew some bag seed, I'm just hoping the timing of our seasons is kind to them, October can be an OK month sometimes

Really. Halloween the last few years we had nearly zero temps

Yeah the end of October can be cold usually around that time you get the first frost, previous grows have finished up for harvest usually around the start or first two weeks of October, for anyone interested here's the feeding schedule I have the autos on, got it from another forum for autos, the only thing I haven't added is molasses

Biobizz is a great organic range!

Never grown ak but ive smoked it, IMO the smokes worth the stink lol

Neighbors can be a pain in the hole alri, grease and even borrowing a dog will help keep em at bay tho.

My neighbor grows photos outside and in a greenhouse. The greenhouse did way better, tho he did have issues with high humidity in flower which caused some rot, and looser buds cause of the lack of light in autumn last year but that can go either way.

What ya could do, depending on the size of the greenhouse is cover it with a tarp from 8-8 to induce flowering early. Never done it myself and sounds like a pain in the ass, but could be of benefit to ya

Yeah I've experimented a few times by sticking one outdoors and always ended up bringing it back into the greenhouse, greenhouse plants leave outdoors for dust in terms of growth, though I've seen videos of UK guerilla growers outdoors with some impressive plants.

A few years ago I came into possession of a plant from a friend, he told me it was a black domina, seriously the most beautiful looking plant I've ever seen, I waited and waited for it to flower and it never did, real shame, looking back I should have constructed some kind of blackout box to put it into for 12 hours a day, think I had orange bud on the go at that time and it flowered OK. Actually might try that for the AKs.

Lucky you having a neighbour like that, mines been a pain in the ass since he moved in, you wouldn't believe the stories of his antics

Hands down the better environment, at least in ireland. If yave Windows for airflow thatd be a great help. Neighbor only installed one in his so got no real through breeze.

Yea south of england is just that bitter warmer I reckon. I saw one lad tho, crackin crop on the go then storm Ophelia hit! Snapped plants everywhere!

Yea its handy out man, its gas, we were both at it and mad shady. Then one day I was smoking a spliff out the back and he popped his head over sniffing like a bloodhound pmsl

That's the chance you take, I rember last year during the summer there was one day we're we got freak gale winds, there was bits of branches and leaves off trees everywhere on the roads and paths, a crop would have been wiped out.

He made a good decision, controlling the heat in greenhouses can be hard, it can get stifling in them during a warm day, I've a small fan to try keep it down a bit and putting in a window won't be to hard.

I dunno if you've ever seen that outside warrior fella on Youtube in the UK but fuckin hell he grows some plants, from what I've seen he adds all his feed from the start bat guano, chicken pellets etc. And that's it apart from watering and bug control if it gets bad. Poor dude got one of his sites trashed last year, they just randomly snapped branches and stems, again that's another chance you take with outdoors

I won't be able to grow out door I'd be to afraid of not being in total control.

My seedlings popped and showing second set of leaves time to hit them with 1000ppm feed

I think unless you live down the country somewhere it's getting harder to find secluded spots, you might think it gets no foot traffic but you'd be surprised how many walk dogs and that through an area, what strains you running?

This run alien rift two selected phenos one purple as fuck and one green the heavy hitter.

But I have a very good collection I could probably never grow out. Last time I looked at my spread sheets I've over 1000 seeds now. I've a seed addiction.

You should start a seed Bank lol
Just out of interest what's the best way to store seeds so they'll be good next year, nice set up in the shed by the way, great looking plants

I use attitude and pevgrow but be prepared to pay for premium genetics. My collection probably cost me about 6-7k

I'm actually running seddling of a strain I made alien rift X gelato X devils cake. I call it coal miners kiss. The black ones our my creation
