The Main-Lining Thread

yeah I have been eyeing Kaliman's quatro pack for some time now plus you get 10 cheese#1 with it. 26 beans for 80 bucks not bad and all cheese !oh yeah,

Instead of smart pots or root pouch or geo pots or oregon breather pots Has anyone tried using fabric grocery bags from Ralphs or any other grocery store? Made from same material (polypropolene). The bags are square shape but you can kind of mold them into a rounder shape. Im guessing they hold 5 or 6 gallons of soil, maybe 7 gal. Here is the cool part. 2 bags for $3.

Here is my little 8 headed AOS girl at day 51, about to be flipped. It's been a long road to this point, but totally worth it.

True Color.......:leaf:

....finally obtained true color out of the camera....took me awhile to find it, but glad i did......it is pretty simple once you start working with a pure black background....(red, blue, and green show up on black real nice)...so it is easy to make adjustments, esp. if you have your laptop next to you in the studio....this is one of three new Jillybeans...and they are short and stout...i am looking for a keeper orange skunk pheno...the more orange the better....

She's purdy!

I've some Jilly Bean seeds going into rooters on sunday for my first ML effort (SS, smart pots, tomato rings, 600W)... so I'd love to watch as much of

the progression with your 3 girls as your inclined to share.... I'm feeling this weird mixture of excitement and trepidation

Thanks again man for the inspiration and the sharing.

I think I'll stick with the Smart Pots. I'm willing to pay less than $30 for 4 pots that will last for many runs.

I made one out of a old milk crate and a car cover i had it works as good if not better than the real deal.plus it has a built in drain rack so the material never hits the ground only the crate does.if i remember i will take a pic later when i get this room finished.by the way my biggest plant in the garden is in this so (out doing my 5 gal smart pots)i believe it works lol! But if you watch E-Bay you can find some good deals i bought some few wks back got 10x5gal for 38 bucks delivered.

You know how it is when you grow. You're always broke. At least I am. Looking for cheap temporary alternative til pay day next month. I just found 5 smarty's 7 gal for $28 free shipping and 10 root pouch 7 gal for $43 after shipping on amazon. i did not check their rating though.

You guys have to see this. Just 2 days ago, after Nugs spotted the mg deficiency, I have dosed her twice lightly and look at the difference in 2 days. Thanx guys for looking after me.

i use my vermifire or roots base soil, but with vermifire, i will cut it down a little with an empty mix like farfard or something similar...essentially perlite/castings/coco/mycos.........so for newborns maybe half vermifire, half empty mix in quarts.....then i go into straight base soil when up-potting from quarts to 2 gal.....i have never seen more vigorous growth and healthy color in young vegging plants since i switched to the vermifire base.....just amazing....i hope it shines in a super soil for flower....we will soon see.

so what made you decide to go with 2 nodes?....notice the difference in stem diameter between the two.......there will be a big difference in cola mass between the "hub" colas and the lower 2.....it will still be nice, but not a true Main-Line.
