I hang wet towels, or add cool mist humidifier to room to keep humidity to at least 50% during drying in dry times. You seem to be nailing it. Curing is an art, it seems, unless you
build a proper curing "shed". i.e. maintain some specific humidity and
take proper measurements of progress.
I am in a coastal desert and adapted by using the bag method in between
the initial hang and the jarring (and a Boveda for the jar) to slow things down.
Enjoy!

I'll be going through my first winter drying/hanging in about 4 weeks or so in the garage as well, this will be interesting.I hang wet towels, or add cool mist humidifier to room to keep humidity to at least 50% during drying in dry times.
I like conditions where the plant hangs for about 2 weeks. Winter time with outdoor drying in the garage though I separate to individual branches and have a strong fan on them oscillating and maybe even use dehumidifier blowing away from them. I check hem iften during the day to see whats happening
Its an art and I dont always have the best results, but you cant be awake and watching them 24/7
I just keep a constant eye on temp and humidity and compensate as needed. Havent really gotten much mold that wasnt already present from outdoor before chop.I'll be going through my first winter drying/hanging in about 4 weeks or so in the garage as well, this will be interesting.
I typically take all fan leaves off 2-3 days before the chop and dry with my sugar leaves in place, doing the final manicuring prior to curing.
Wet trimming just isn't for me for the small personal quantity I grow.
I can't wait, ran out of my personal supply and am resorting to dispensary flowers (thank God for the roach jar, the shit in the stores suck most of the time!).
Some pack in the 4-5 week and some not till week 7 or so. Strain dependent mostlyWhen do you all see the biggest phase of bud growth during flower?
I'm getting some really great colas, but they're not as fat as I was hoping they'd be at this point.
I'm only on day 43 of 63 of flower... something tells me the weight should start packing on during these final 3 weeks give or take a day?

What strain?
My Killawatt packed up hard week 4-5, but my Jack packed week 7-8 for example

Slower and more controlled drying because they will droop over the buds.Beautiful pix bro!
Quick question is there any benefit to hanging with fan leaves on? I leave my sugar leaves on and dry trim, but haven't left fan leaves on but see that others do this method.
Thank you!Beautiful pix bro!
