Well, I just cut off the light timer in my garden... 7 pm tonight will be 24 hours of dark period.

I think I'll chop them tonight so I don't have to rush through Monday morning at 7 am.

They are looking nice!
Are you saying you have 7 days left of flowering?
How many weeks into flowering are you? I see lots of white pistils

Well it is a Critical Sensi Star it says 56 days flowering and I'm at 51 now but I was thinking the same thing probably at least another week on top of that week. Getting some color on them though. But again how does this dark period work? And for what

I have done the dark period and dont think anything really happens, but its said they will swell up I think during that time.

Here's a better lighting picture for view of hairs of the top lower buds seem to be little further along than this. Sorry other one had my light on and it really does seem to flower fast so according to its strain has about 5 days left but ain't chopping till she's done

I do leave them in dark for a day sometimes, but only because they are done according to trichs and I dont want them to get more amber, but Im too busy to chop and hang.

Some strains pop out new hairs in the end in a last growth spurt. Mine are doing this at week 6, had lots of orange hairs then new ones came at 41 days

Mines at 53 days and seems there getting slightly curlier and a few more orange hairs but no new ones that I can tell

So I had a nice hub going that was getting very bushy and couldn't decide if I want to scrog and use all the growths, or just cut everything off and go with 12 big colas.
Now we wait 2-3 weeks and make the flip. Hopefully, I'm not disappointed!

Oh yes, you made the right choice.

That will take longer overall, as you let it recover from the tie-down,
but it will return the difference in the yield.

Anyone have any idea if i should mainline her or not? 4 weeks out in DWC but only 5" tall. Seems like shes covering the rest of her shoots

I've been topping and doing a lot of LST all along. I followed this tutorial to begin with actually, but then chickened out when I saw how full and beautiful they had become.

That one is Critical Kush. I also have a Blue Dream the same age that was pruned exactly the same way as the CK. Also, I have a bigger Jack Herer that is a little late, but I got her down to 24-30 tops which is much more manageable that in was before.

I'll post pics of the other two as well. It is always amazing how fast they recover, even after a haircut.
