are sometime more obvious than you think.

About a year ago a friend and I pulled behind a truck with a bunch of windshields on it and after staring at the company name "ABC Windshields Co" (or some shit like that) I realized.....Windshields are truly, wind shields.

I'm sure for some people it was obvious but for me it was an revelation, and was a signal that I was WAY to high.

"words" simply cannot convey how this makes me feel.

Think about how stupid it would sound if other things were named like that. For instance, instead of lamp, it's indoorlight or some shit. Or instead of flashlight, which is already kind of like that, lightstick. We don't laugh at "windshields" yet "indoorlight" and "lightstick" are unusual and humorous if I may say so. :3 just goes to show how used to certain things we are.

I've always found the word job funny, I mean job it sounds like some half hearted stoner attempt of creating a word. Job job haha still makes me smile

The word fuck comes from the word pluck , a misspelling , hundrets of years ago when a archer was caught they would cut his middle finger off , Then people would make fun of them by makeing motions like they were shooting a bow eventuly people just said pluck you - thats one story at least

The word shit is short for Ship High In Transit , This came about 100's of years ago when manure was a commodity , and was transported by wooden hull ship . The wooden hulls commonly leaked water wetting the manure and producing methane gas in a confined space, then blew the hulls out . So the crates were marked shit

The word Crap came about when soldiers went to europe and saw the first common use modern type toliet , the toliet was the older type with the tank hung on the wall connected to the bowl with a long brass tube . On the tank was a brass tag with the inventors name on it tomas krapper . So soldiers picked up the slang of saying Im going to the craper , going to take a crap ect. ect.

Have you ever said a word so many times it doesn't sound the same....like road....rooooad...roaaad...hmm

That was on an episode of friends with Jon Levit. His character was high.
