And in 3000 years some might say he never existed.

A very good example is Romulus from Rome.

There was more than likely a person (possibly several) who did most or all of what is attributed to Romulus.

Years go by, legend fades to myth. And we're left with an undoubtedly true story, in spirit, that has some fiction added to his deeds.

It doesn't mean he didn't exist and found the kingdom of Rome.

Julius was never emperor either, and the title Caesar was granted to him as an honour upon his death.

Most people dont realise that.

Caesar was his name since his birth.
his father was a Caesar, his brother was a Caesar, his grandfather was a Caesar etc etc etc

he was born to the noble but impoverished Caesar branch of the Julian Gens

he was in fact acclaimed Imperatus (the root of the word Emperor) on the field of battle, and by the senate.

he was declared Dictator For Life by the senate, which became the hereditary title of Emperor.

the title "Divus" (divine, or deified) was attached to him after his death when his cult was started.

Without him the Danes would have conquered England in 1065 or 66, and not the Duke of Normandy.

"english" history is Germanic history, and Germanic History is a history of violence, oppression, murder, rape, and usurpation

British history is far more important than the pretensions of some wee fat german lairdies who have been fucking up every free country they touch for 3000 years
