A pinch of yucca in the tanks is awesome. Cannazym already has yucca in the bottle. Thats what Cannazym is. Mono potassium phospahte..yucca..some b vitamins and ceullase enzyme. Cannazym with the pricey Rhizotonic makes for root explosion. Ive used both extensively in past grows. They work together in veg especailly early veg and at pot up tranpslant to get the plants off and chugging. Good chit. Ive used canna rhizo and cannazym with other base nute brands and it does the same thing as the Canna bases. Works good with GH Cocotek Grow & Bloom as well. Better than the GH addys.

Ive used the entire Canna line (they dont have a huge set.- they sell what works and nothing more) except the Boost. Iam not paying 100$ bucks a quart of anything. A buddy used it for a few runs awhile back. Quit buying that expensive stuff and said if your strains room and feeds are dialed..it doesnt do enough to justify buying it so I never did. Heard it can make some strains finish a few days faster but thats nit a big deal to me. But i heard Canna Boost isnt a radical deal breaker. I might try Golden Tree sometime but I dont really know what its all about???

Even hard dish soap can be used to kill bugs. Old Gardner trick. I learnt that sheet from the PBS victory garden show. Gentle baby soap does nothing and has a bunch of uses in tanks, bottles etc.

Fuck expensive boost, make similar using banana skins and some molasses, put in a bucket a water and brew overnight. Works rather well.

That sheet is way overpriced. You can buy PGR boosters cheaper if you are into that.

I'll just brew up some alfalfa tea with Kelp and call it a day

Drain to waste res.

Full canna coco lineup

How do you manage your res and Benny's to keep them alive and fresh.

Mix everything in a big res and top up when needed/clean out every week....

Or.

Mix a res with everything except canna zym and just do a coco drench daily?

I don't know man Im new to Bennys and coco I alwase ran sterile res . Dwc.

At the moment I mix a 5 gal bucket daily
I want to switch to the 100liter

But their going to need two feedings a day real soon so I want to mix up a week's worth of nutes and setup my timers again

Just make sure to have enough air in the res and it will be just like brewing tea, the bene's will multiply and thrive. I have one line of a 6 outlet Mani from a 960gph air pump feeding a a 4inch airstone in a 25g res for example.

My only reference point was how disgusting my recirculating system got within a week or two haha

I could use a bit of counseling here, please!

I have a tub of used coco from past grows, it is still in clumps from when it was removed from the smart pots. It has to be at least 8 cu. ft. as I have used 4 - 1.77 cu. ft. of new coco in those grows. I have taken chunks of it in my hands and sort of rolled it to collect as much of the remaining roots as possible, a three inch chunk will give about a 2 inch ball of roots. The coco and some of the broken off roots go thru a 1/2 x 1/4 inch screen into another tub. I would like to add it to new canna coco but have a few questions.
1. When rubbed between hands it is not very course, that is why I would like to mix it with new. Is it going to be to fine to use?
2. How should I treat it prior to mixing with the new coco, Cal/Mag, Cannazym, ect?
3. At what ratio should it be mixed with the new canna coco?

I have just been buying new coco for every grow but was told I am wasting monies doing so.

I have had the same Coco for about 3 years. I use promix 4 advanced. So sorry no insight on the canna query.

I leave the organic roots in there and roll with that. The most i may do is stick pots in the shower and let water run through it for 10-15 mins.

I am in the middle of dumping all the old stuff out now though. to deal with a different issue. I got 3 50gal bags full of it waiting for processing or the compost bin. Sorry couldn't help more.

Hey I nixed up the res last night and left it until today and it dropped from 1050 to 800 over night and there's a slime all over the tank and air lines

Is this just the Benny's at work?

It doesn't smell..
