Paul Butterfield and his blues band, yes I seem to recall seeing him. I've seen Muddy Waters, Albert and BB King, and a ton of others from a band called Aum from the west coast to Frank Zappa at the altantic city pop festival, before woodstock took place. After all these years the one concert that stands out in my mind took place at The Electric Factory in philly. Great place to see a band, one of the best ever. Anyway I drift, as usual. The crazy world of Arthur Brown was there. I'm tripping my brains out. They start off by playing I put a spell on you. Smoke is pouring all over the stage,(not to mention the 'other' smoke filling the air) and Arthur Brown comes crawling out of this giant paper base drum on all fours wearing a tiger costume. He would change outfits every few songs until the finale when he puts on this head thingy which he proceeds to light on fire all the while prancing all around the stage singing Fire.
As for me, scrapple was a once a year thing. My mom loved the stuff but it's an acquired taste which I haven't completely acquired. I stayed at the school of hard knocks for a few months, been to the west coast once and moved to florida in 88' where I still reside.
