The Old Heads Thread

Can't we all just get along? Brevity my dear man, you rose to his statement like a fish to bait. I've seen a ton of your posts and wonder why you feel the need to insult people on here? Incessantly pathetic you call him and then you infer he won't be long for RIU and in the next breath ask what he's having for breakfast. Do you suffer from bi-polar disorder? Just a suggestion, but maybe you would be better to drop the terseness from the brevity part.
Maaayybe....

How's about you?

The scrapple was goooood.:hump:

Paul Butterfield and his blues band, yes I seem to recall seeing him. I've seen Muddy Waters, Albert and BB King, and a ton of others from a band called Aum from the west coast to Frank Zappa at the altantic city pop festival, before woodstock took place. After all these years the one concert that stands out in my mind took place at The Electric Factory in philly. Great place to see a band, one of the best ever. Anyway I drift, as usual. The crazy world of Arthur Brown was there. I'm tripping my brains out. They start off by playing I put a spell on you. Smoke is pouring all over the stage,(not to mention the 'other' smoke filling the air) and Arthur Brown comes crawling out of this giant paper base drum on all fours wearing a tiger costume. He would change outfits every few songs until the finale when he puts on this head thingy which he proceeds to light on fire all the while prancing all around the stage singing Fire.

As for me, scrapple was a once a year thing. My mom loved the stuff but it's an acquired taste which I haven't completely acquired. I stayed at the school of hard knocks for a few months, been to the west coast once and moved to florida in 88' where I still reside.

Edit. I forgot to include a couple of pics the old heads will enjoy.

And finally to put into perspective just how long ago that was...

i was stationed at the philadelphia naval yard in the late 70's. the electric factory sure does sound familiar but i can't pitcure it... :peace:

It was at something like twenty second and arch I want to say. Flat black inside with black lights illuminating the over abundance of dayglow paint everywhere. It was bench style seating with the first row so close you could put your feet on the two foot tall stage. These guys were right on top of you when they performed back then. You also had to go down from the street level to get in.

Pink Floyd played there when Syd was still in the band I think.

That is very possible. This was at the height of the hippie movement, say 68/69. The bad thing about that time, I can't honestly say that I remember it all that well, for numerous reasons most of which are drug related. I'm not talking weed, I'm talking drugs, chemicals. This is the peace and love generation and drugs fueled the peace and love.

Why do plants grow so quickly when they are vegging and slow as molasses when you're waiting for them to finish flowering?

I haven't seen any others so I guess I'll be the first to post a pic. This is the end of week five of flowering. I present to you my girls.

The last pic, this baby has been showing her sativa side for quite some time. It's a crystal, which is a cross of northern lights and white widow backcrossed with a crystal male. So basically she is a seed we made from a previous grow. Right from the beginning this girl was wispy compared to the others. The hairs were also extremely thin compared to the others and bright yellowish white as you can see in the pic. She is still airy but has a few weeks to put on some weight. Hope you enjoy.
