Sooo, when Bernie was clearly the loser in the primary, the reactionary right, Putin, Wikileaks and the assorted trolls who pumped out negative and fake news about Clinton while actually helping Bernie.
He lost by 12% margin anyway.
The Cult of Sanders made a big deal out of how far he got and quite naively say stuff like "If he hadn't lost he would have won." "Because he went from nobody to only losing by 12% to Clinton." Or other nonsense.
Today, Bernie is well known and at least in the top five prospects for the nomination of the Democratic party.
So, game on. The radical right is going to pump shit like the following from now to however long it takes for Bernie to lose again.
I was wondering what was happening in the investigation on Bernie's influence peddling for his wife. It seems the reactionary right are ratcheting up the negative news on Bernie. We'll start seeing a lot more of the dirt heaped upon Bernie from now one.
The site in the link below is a propaganda organ to be sure -- in no way am I posting this as if it had any validity. I'm just noting that Bernie has arrived and am looking forward to seeing how well The Cult of Sanders handles it when their guru starts getting front runner treatment by the opposition.
4 Keys to Understanding the Investigation of a Loan Helping Bernie Sanders’ Wife

“If Jane Sanders had been Jane Doe, she never would have gotten the loan [for the college],” Toensing told The Daily Signal last week. “But I now want the justice system to treat her like Jane Doe by conducting a fair, impartial, and thorough investigation. No one should be above the law, not even the spouse of a powerful United States senator.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is keeping quiet as a federal grand jury investigates a bank loan to a now-defunct private college once run by his wife.
Sanders’ Senate office has been declining media interviews in Vermont. A spokesman, Josh Miller-Lewis, said he did not have an answer for The Daily Signal on whether the senator or his Senate office was involved in a loan going through to benefit his wife, but said he would work on getting an answer.
To RIU's Russian trolls ( @trippnface ), please note the subtlety in the propaganda. There is more than a grain of truth to the drivel but they carefully avoid discussing Bernie's side of the story. It's not anything like the crude and obvious propaganda found on sites like the Jimmy Dore show.
