the Reagan philosophy AKA a landslide victory

Ummm, I haven't seen any of your democratic buddies like Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton doing much to change the laws. :dunce:
Yeah, this is a hilarious statement...

For decades the GOP pushed the war on drugs and created this atmosphere where it's political suicide to advocate for MJ reform...and here you going "oh, well dems don't do anything to reform the law either". Are you really that dumb? I don't think so...

Have you lived in america the last 20 years...?
No but we do have TV out here in the wilderness, we even get to see the superbowl & shit... it's even in colour!

& after the last 10 years of fiasco that the Great American Experiment has experienced, even a blind man can see that something is rotten is the state of Denmark.

Both sides are pretty equal in their stance on cannabis. What have the dems done on the national level? I'll wait patiently for your response. :blsmoke:

Reagan also thought it was ok for the govt to steal someones property over a joint of weed, which he signed into law, and mandatory minimums for drug users, which he also signed into law. His trickle down theory was ass backwards and he had nothing to do with the Berlin Wall which he and other repugs take credit for. He set the country back 20 years just as every republican president has done.
also blame him for crack.
if you don't beleive me.
read about Iran Contra.
People who love smoking crack can thank ronnie reagan. I wonder where he's burried, i wanna go dump a jar of urine on his grave.

Wow the revisionists have been busy with you.

That's because the majority of these people weren't even born yet.
I hate that we have to repeat history now do to ignorance of history. This shit we are going through now is just a 30 year cycle. I think the "war on drugs" was needed, it just got out of hand, at least the killing got toned down alot. The shit was crazy back then.

I'm aware of Barney Frank's support for legalization. I'm also aware of Jimmy Carter's support. My question was what have they done about it? Other than a few individuals standing up in support of it what has been done by the dems? Both democrats and republicans have given legalization some lip service but do any of them do anything about it? Obama said he is pro MMJ but he also said he didn't want to waste a whole lot of political captial on the subject. Other than individuals within either party, what have the dems done as a party to push the legalization agenda? That's because it's not a party agenda. It's a couple of individuals who have stated their opinions but haven't done much to actually pass any legislation or even seriously debate the issue. :joint::peace:

Whatever you say............

Barney Frank Files Bill to Decriminalize Marijuana

A controversial law in Massachusetts could go national if Congressman Barney Frank gets his way.

Frank has filed a bill that would eliminate federal penalties for personal possession of less than 100 grams of marijuana.

It would also make the penalty for using marijuana in public just $100.

What happened to it? Did they vote on it? Are they gonna vote on it? This is almost a year old. Healthcare got passed so let's get cannabis decriminalized at the very least. :bigjoint:

On 7/23/2009 it was referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security and there it still sits.

Kudos to Barney Frank for his stand on federal laws against our favorite 'erb.

Now then, what else has he done to promote personal liberties?

What's the next step and do you think it will even be taken seriously? I doubt it. I think the states are just starting to wake up so that means the federal govt. is about 10-20 years behind everyone else..............:-(

wow im not a huge fan of reagan either.
but he did set the stage for the berlin wall to come down. i was a soldier at that time so i know .he also bankrupted the USSR.
he also set the stage for the largest economic expansion in world history.
that being said he also made a flight to japan after he got out of office and made a speech for a million bucks.
that was when a million bucks was worth something.
tell me he wasnt a crook too.
He wasn't a crook, too.
