The States vs The Federal Gov.

Although Fox News and CNN are not telling you about it, a growing number of states are declaring sovereignty. Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.

These states will not comply with current unconstitutional laws and new ones that the Federal Government brings out.

I did not expect the states to fight back. Now that I see this, I really do have hope for Americans. Let's just pray that these states stay... safe from... threats...

It's like standing up against a bully, and saying "HEY! I won't put up with your bullshit, bully!" What is the bully going to do? Chuckle and stomp on your face.
Hopefully it's not the same way for our government. (the Feds being the bullies)

Well whats gonna happen when those states need money and the Federal government comes to "bail" them out like our banks?

Even if those "bailouts" were constitutional, none of those banks and businesses deserve any kind of bail. Greed brought their downfall... they need to suffer the consequences.

As for the states, they've been governing themselves since birth. I'm sure they can find solutions without the support of the Feds.

Yes I know. These probably won't get anywhere. The point is that the states WILL fight back if things get out of hand.

Texas just put in their "Cease and Desist" order as well on Feb. 18th. Still needs to go through the state house. But people are talking about it on the internet. Yes these happen all the time but we are definitely seeing a rash of them now.

The states do not need federal money the Fed's need state money. All the Federal taxes on all the businesses and people in the states would then convert to the state. Which is where it mostly all belongs anyway.

New Hampshire bill is by far the best one. It actually specifies what it will consider "nullification" of the Constitution.

I. Establishing martial law or a state of emergency within one of the States comprising the United States of America without the consent of the legislature of that State.
II. Requiring involuntary servitude, or governmental service other than a draft during a declared war, or pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
III. Requiring involuntary servitude or governmental service of persons under the age of 18 other than pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
IV. Surrendering any power delegated or not delegated to any corporation or foreign government.
V. Any act regarding religion; further limitations on freedom of political speech; or further limitations on freedom of the press.
VI. Further infringements on the right to keep and bear arms including prohibitions of type or quantity of arms or ammunition.


I love it this is an important step in reclaiming our Constitutional Republic.

By fr I consider this more important. People tend to forget about the Militia Act, which clearly defines what weaponry the citizens may have - specifically that which is commonly used in current warfare.

What that means is if the regular militaries around the world are using AKs (and they are) Then we, by right, should have access to own and operate those same weapons.

By all legal rights, Master P's tank could legally be refitted into firing condition. Why? Tanks are commonly in use in war, and have been since the World Wars. It's the only way to best ensure the safety of the people against foreign invasion.

Yep theoretically, we should be able to. But government is afraid of an armed populace. They are training on our streets to put down riots with the military. Riots arn't to far off I think. Once the enormity of the mess "They" have created reaches the people who will ultimately be forced to pay for it. When the price of food becomes to great when inflation rears its head. Your going to see unrest.

Government has overstepped its boundaries it has over spent, over borrowed, over extended and made promises it just can't keep. The trick will be to avoid any kind of statist solution. Socialism doesn't work, Keynesian economics of fiat money doesn't work. So don't be fooled by government promises. They are all con-men and will say anything to maintain the status-quo.

We need a limited government, a small government. In short we need a government that upholds its Constitution. If we had that their would be no problem with people owning guns because the government wouldn't be afraid of gun owners. I'm sorry to say things like this but the Government has no right or responsibility to protect you from yourself. It has no right to steal from me to feed you. No matter how bad off you may be. The world is a messy place and people sink or swim, there just is no security in the real world. The best you can hope for is the charity of your friends and neighbors.

Because when the SHTF, and the chips are down it will your neighbors who get each-other through it. Not the Government. Because the Government could give a shit less about you all they want to know is what you can do for them.

i remember back around 1994 alot of the states were passing what was called the tenth amendment resolution.
none of the states have the balls to enforce it though.the constitution is garbage as far as the people in power of this country are concerned.
this market correction has been long over due.that is the way it goes when you have the federal reserve and a bunch of crooked bankers running the country

i agree with these ideas. The Nat'l gov't should be a loose body that convenes to politic differences between states, to take control in states of national emergency, and to decide on the commissioning of national projects.

states should be allowed to be a reflection of that particular populace's ideas and virtues. if we allow them to all be different, they will all develope certain strengths and expertise, then at future points when a specific task or emergency of national scope is at hand, the particular state's(s') who have expertise in these areas shall be consulted by a national congress in order to come to the best possible solution. I think this would be a great way to make an empire. what State or nation wouldn't want to be under a central gov't that allows for every freedom yet has the power to protect and aid in times of crises?

The government is up to something. The pentagon "lost" 300 million dollars worth of weapons and military vehicles. They don't know where they went, or so they say. This makes me think back to some $30,000 toilet seats, and $10,000 hammers.........

although, how do you quell something like port security on a national level, or food inspection. wouldn't you have to have some national institutions so that one state isn't harming the whole by its actions?

So, you think state governments are greed free? I'm afraid you're in for a surprise. Starting at the lowest levels, district supervisors, the greed kicks in and only gets stronger as it travels up the ladder. When someone will spend 1.6 million for a 40,000 a year job, you have to get suspicious.

This is why the gov't levels above should be controlled by a conference/congress of the levels below. This way, the people of communities are always the base of the pyramid for every decision made.

On a theoretical side note, would anyone have a problem with a state going communist, if that is what the people of those communities wanted?
