Yup, per gal of water added to res. Trust me its not. For me when i add 3 gal per refill its 7.5 ml Cal Mag, 18 ml Micro and 27ml of Bloom. The trick for me is while it takes abit longer refilling and going back i forth, i use 2 liter pop bottles. Us gal is 3.75 liters. So i actually play it safe by adding 3/4 of a liter extra in water anyways. The formula is Lucas but modified by H3ad(H3ads coco version) and very well known in growing. Your good.
