The UK Growers Thread!

Aye need to clean it out so humidity is low in photo.

Righto! Yea it took me a while to decide on what to do so was late to the party. See how they go from now on.

Can you run mother plants under 24/7 or do they need a little rest?
Yeah you can run a mother under 24/7 light, I always do it when I am in veg, with all of my plants in veg. I think they grow slightly faster on 24/7 :blsmoke:

You can bud it's the cost more than anything that stops folk doing it if you got anything extremely photosensitive then it's the only way think semi autos stuff like that you need high hours and plenty of root space to keep them going

They deffo have tighter internodes that way idk about faster what I think it is is they initiate into bloom faster if they been kept that way so they respond faster to the the drop in light hours more than anything I would say mate so it appears faster ime

Right fair enough, makes sense! I want them slow growing and be on the smaller side on things to manage. So keep it cool long light hrs.

I think I saw star dog trim the rootball of his mother plant once so that could be an option down the line

Yeah it is always an option just don't go too nuts if your trimming the roots and do too much cos besides it might die it might herm on you as well ages ago some folks used to make seeds by messing with the roots to herm one plant to pollinate another obviously this is a bad idea and should not be encouraged as herms begets herms that's why you don't hear of many doing it now luckily
