You clearly have never served. I say again: Not knowing the difference between a lawful or unlawful order does not protect our asses from a court martial. We are trained to think and to lead, not serve blindly. Nothing you'd know shit about.

I'm not trying to talk shit. All I'm saying is, don't pretend to know what life is like for us. Because I can tell you from a frontline perspective, nothing is simple enough to just follow an order blindly. It's total chaos, disorder, and confusion, and you still have to conceive a rational direction in the middle of it all.Ive already stated i havent served.

You may be missing an underlying issue here that has less to do with how military personnel is trained and more about how they're perceived by the public.
This is a legitimate issue. Perception drives motivation even more than facts on the ground.
It is to everyone's advantage that our military is trustworthy and resistant to being exploited by an opportunistic oligarch class and/or the politicians on their payroll.

My whole family from my granddad (WW1) up to my Farther (Vietnam) suffered due to PTSD Not just those who served..but everyone around them suffers.
What i am debating has nothing to do with a perticuler solder. Its to do with the force the enterty can be used for. One that has been used against the population before as @ttystikk mentions.
