When i watched WN92/2, i got excited about a "new" hood, the Growlite OG. I even talked to them and had them send me more info on it. It sounded really great and was thinking that it may be worth $300 each. After watching WN93/2, i'm glad i decided to wait. That hot spot on your vid shows what the brochure didn't really explain:
It just doesn't have a even footprint. Seeing it in action really tells the tale. I just wanted to say thanks for trying it out and sharing with everyone. Im not knocking their product at all, maybe with 4-6 in a tight group, they would really shine (Ha, no pun...). And they were REALLY nice people. I just dont think it would work for me. So thanks again. I was wondering tho, what did you think about their bulbs and it's spectrum?

In order to determine which hood is more effective necessitates the use of a light meter. All hoods have hot spots. OG lights look like hoods from 25 years ago though, before we figured out how to turn the bulbs horizontal.
