The way I understand it is that as a patient of a collective you are naming them as a caregiver, which allows you to give donations and receive meds. Being apart of a collective is a whole other ball game. There are restrictions on how many collectives you can be apart of and how large they can be. You probably need x number of card holders as patients to justify the size of your collective.Hey Sub got a question about something you said in the last nerd... you said that it's not legal for a medical patient with a card to sell to a dispensary... my understanding was if you joined and were part of the dispensaries collective, there should be no issue at all with selling your flowers to other members of the same collective. Is this not correct? Do you have to have your own collective to sell to another collective?? Very confusing Wish CA (and other states) would be a little more deliberative in creating a workable system... it's kinda messed up the legal framework in most states is kind of the sloppy work you'd expect from a lot of potheads -- except these are our legislators lol. I guess it's typical government work though...
Almost every post i've ever seen deleted in here is deleted by sub himself. He's said before multiple times in this thread including within the last 2 or 3 weeks that this thread is for the discussion of the show and related topics my guess is if it got deleted he was tired of the (off) topic about a NON tga strain dominating the thread. Just a guess. And no it's not north korea it's called moderating to keep a thread on topic. I guarantee you if you post the same topic in the subcool/tga subforum in it's own thread it won't get deleted -- this thread is for the weed nerd.So what's the deal with my last post being deleted? I was not rude in any way. I conceded that the only plants I can grow in my circumstance were way less tasty and potent than TGA strains. Should I just not post at all? Who's responsible for this? What is this, North Korea?
I had no idea others were close to me. I am 30 minutes away. If I wasn't such a recluse.....There is a certain STRAWBERRY festival in TN today...anybody wearing a TGA shirt is getting free packs of bubblegum, deisel, and a couple grams of AOS...and just got an email..there is gonna be lots of strawberry kush and moonshine around..hope to see at least a couple nerds..
I dunno the one bad thing about legalization is that if they ever do legalize it federally agribusiness will drive the price down until indie growers can't make a living and then all we'll have is crap. How low do you suppose a price a of pound can go? I understand, in Denver for instance, that about half the dispensaries have closed since the green rush. The price of 1/4 has gone from $100 to $50 in the shops and they say it cost over $400,000 to even open a shop there. How low can pounds go?
If that were true, then the only wine in liquor stores would be Thunderbird and Eau du Cheese-gonch, which is clearly not the case.I dunno the one bad thing about legalization is that if they ever do legalize it federally agribusiness will drive the price down until indie growers can't make a living and then all we'll have is crap.
If I wasn't such a stoner.....I hope you brought your umbrella cause it rained pretty heavy....I belive Tennessee has quite a few Nerds and some bad ass Meds...If you know where to look.....The smart ones keep to themselves and inner circles are quite sacred.....On my last jar or two of chernobyl.....but I don't mind sharing....Probably got enough edibles for a small army...The Strawberry festival I know well....but theres more pigs there than a doughnut shopThere is a certain STRAWBERRY festival in TN today...anybody wearing a TGA shirt is getting free packs of bubblegum, deisel, and a couple grams of AOS...and just got an email..there is gonna be lots of strawberry kush and moonshine around..hope to see at least a couple nerds..
And THAT is a good point. It's known as barriers to entry in a market. To which, you are probably on to something there. Especially considering the corporatist nature of politics, the agri-biz oligopoly would have a clear advantage (and desire) in keeping the SMEs from entering.Good point... but agribusiness will also make sure it's so regulated that the small guy won't be able to do it for the most part (at least like today). There is already a big % of the people who are anti-mj who will agree to pretty much any regulation proposed to 'keep the children safe', etc. We can already see it in WA and CO. You'll still have people like the guy doin' grandaddy purp and sub who have the resources to stay in it... but they'll make sure it's way too expensive for the small individual grower to both get in and make a profit without a lot of $$ to get started.
