My dad grows but he doesnt want to take any advice from me. I clearly grow better pot than he does BUT! ... Whatcha gonna do. Love him all the same

i know, my dad was like you hang the whole plant roots and all. he wouldnt even listen to me... i just shake my fucking head now lol

I hung the root ball for a grow about 20 years ago....lol.

It took forever to dry....and I cut the ball off.

I was new. :0)

It's hilarious that you all deal with the same shit. Mine may be able to grow like one of the greats...but he always jars too early and leaves crows feet all over the place.

ME- "dad, you should let them dry more before jarring and do a better trim job and they will keep the beautiful smell they had when growing."
DAD-"But they seemed like they were too dry." "It all gets me ripped"...look at all the trichomes"
ME- "but the clubs don't want that shit and it taste kinda harsh sometimes"
DAD- "fuck'em!"

No matter how bad he drys and trims he will always be my original weed nerd and I love him...Thanks Dad!

get high off the fucking water leaves. so my oldman always cured like crap.
no bag appeal. but were working on it lol

My Pop was "The Man", in many ways, but he was and is fair and honest.

We will never share a spliff, but we enjoy each others company all the same.

As cannabis growers we are a proud bunch who take pride in our work, so it's hard sometimes to take advice seriously. Plus the good genetics are worth so much it can be expensive to change and fool around with something that's already working well. There are rarely one size fits all solutions. What works in one environment may not work as well in another environment and strains can vary to a degree as well.
The idea is to do the best with the hand your dealt in any grow situation.

So far I've been able to stay ahead of the curve for a long time in the marketplace, however I'd say the ever since Colorado opened up there's been better weed generally here, but all of it falls short so far so I'm still in the game. Everyone is competing with everyone else for marketplace dollars.

I know many weed nerds will like my friend Joey Diaz, a real toner just like Subcool. You can see him in Joe Rogans podcasts or punch in Oliboz into youtube. Joey's a real SAVAGE when it comes to cannabis and gets high like a mutherfuckin' DOCTAH!

I think Sub would be an awesome guest on the JRE. Most shows are over two hours so you really get to know the guest and it's not all MMA fighters.
