Hey Owl...are you able to do any pics? Sorry to hear about the mold issue...but I know you'll dust that off like nothing!

Wish I could post pics. Not that anything is really that different around here.
I sent pics to sensei to post for me last time.

Moldy clones are not enough to ground this bird!
I will prevail!!

Thanks Lady.J, a little encouragement goes a long way! :)

LOL - that's funny whenever me or my friend used to hook up from a dealer and get some for the other one, we used to always text each other 'the eagle has landed' when done :)

I really want to get some kind of cloning system down that is near 100% success so i only have to take one or two cuts from each plant and know i'll get at least one rooted.

I used to have such stellar luck cloning... Hardwood cuttings, softwood cuttings, spring, fall.. Whenever, whatever I tried.

These still have not wilted, lost color, gone gooey, or fuzzy. So damn hopeful.

After all the fuzzy cuts, I added a few drops of H2O2 into my mini spray bottle, and have been misting with it.
It adds oxygen to to rapid rooter as it moistens also!

Yeah unfortunately my experience with the apollos is they will stay looking green for a long time but that won't have shit to do with getting roots :) none of mine that weren't rooted in 5 or 6 days took root, but they all stayed green quite a while longer. :(

may wanna take some more cuts if it's still possible... or just say fuck it at this point... i'm getting ready to plant 6 more apollo seeds anyway ;)

Yeah my wife got some cuts from another plant she likes, stuck'em in some soil in a big pot on our porch and has just drenched'em with (high Ph) water every day and those suckers took root in a week in the summer heat... crazy. I guess some species of plants just are made for it. She had very few failures out of a couple dozen+ May have to try what she did with some (extra) mj cuts next time just to see... i have a feeling they would not survive that :)

What was the plant she did that with? Succulents will root readily even in this heat and minimal moisture.
And some vines will root in like a week or so also. Just curious.. But I'd really like to know.

Doing some re-rearranging with the plants. If all goes well, I may find time this eve to do an update.
Have a lot to at least document.

Not succulents... some kind of tropical herb bushes that aren't commonly grown in the states.

Looking forward to the update, and some pics :) send'em over if you can't post'em yourself i'll be here

Hey nice! Thanks to you my friend ! :)
So, as you can see, I've got a very nice selection for my next run.
Hoping for nO boys this go, but if so, it'll get the ole rip and replace method. Then I'll just do a staggered run until the new year.

Then, around the first of the year it sparkle project rollout.
So I want you to do your standard note keeping sensei;)
let me know all there is !!

Seeds in towels now! Woot! I mean Hoot!

1 gallons, they will go in there and veg a week or so, then to 12/12. I may just end up with 12/12 from seed.
Want a quick turn around, and still have strains I've never popped so, I should have a very good variety next year whilst I play :D

I'm not going to start the next batch until I get the full grow room going -- there's no more room in the cab for more seedlings until then -- but it's just the right amount of space for this many solos. Going to try to start getting that set up this weekend, but goal is to start next batch around time of first august payday when i start working on the shelves.

From what I understand from seed there's no chance for sexual maturity before 5-6 weeks, so 12/12 from seed just means stressed plants with less grow time under the light each day and potentially more males -- not sure how true that is, but.... These going indoors?

Theowl

Yes they'll be in my indoor area.
Mill be back to chat in the am. The wife can't sleep if I'm not in the room. :(

Nah man, I've had great successes with the 12/12 from seed method.
Some have even gotten the holy grail of 1g/watt.
Sexing in as little as 20 days avg.

The stresses from a shortened light cycle are so minimal as to be negligible or nonexistent.
Mid wager to say that LST brings more of a stress.

Plants grown under this lighting schedule have no basis of comparison to another light cycle.
Therefore, it's all it's ever known, and all plants adapt to their particular circumstances.

Some say that it decreases yields. I can see where they would say that.
You DO get less bid from a plant grown this way. (larger plants, larger yeilds)
BUT, the bud to plant RATIO goes significantly higher in a 12/12 FS. (less stem, trim, etc.)

But as I always say, it takes all kinds in our world..
We do what we do. And that's good enough for me ;)
