That's what I've been wondering... just been taking care of my garden here... goin to flower
After 18 or 19 yrs of being the one that tilled, planted, weeded, harvested my 400 sq ft veggie garden and cooked it too I honestly don't miss it lolHope so..
Ya Highlander, fall spinach and peas!, green beans, cabbage, broccoli, kale, collards, mustard greens, tomatoes, jalapeños, squash, and leeks, rutabagas, and maybe some radishes later with onions(scallion type and yellow)..
oh yeah! Carrots too!
Nice that is my goal as well... I'm working on getting the money to move west & buy land first though I can't really do what I want here and I don't know how long I'll stay... but yeah I want to be off the power supply and supplying as much food for ourselves as possible... gonna try and find a job where I can work remote and do contract work instead of the office thing... it just is not me, not that i dislike where i work. It was pretty great when my wife was pregnant and they let me work at home all but 4 hours a day 3 days a week... but I couldn't convince them to let me keep doing that... and I'd make a lot more under contract. It does become a lifestyle, that's kinda my goal though. To get myself to a pint where I don't rely on shipped foods. Shoot, a few years ago I even grew my own peanuts(probably should again what with all the recent peanut recalls)...
we can and dehydrate as well.. And now I've got my solar dehydrator/solar oven, I don't use the grid to power my dehydrations..
With insulation on it I can raise the temps to pasteurize and even bake breads in it!
Currently working on revamping my satellite solar cooker with mirrors.(the emergency blanket worked great, but has oxidized where the adhesive was holding it to the dish) I should have it done this week!
Then, I can use it for so many applications!
That is pretty weird, especially for Waco.. That place creeps me out. Never heard of books a million.. Good book store?I forget, would have to look.
So I was at books a million and there was a whole shelf full of marijuana grow books under gardening. This was in Waco Texas. I took a pic out of disbelief
So where is every one?
Hey sensi how's it going. Just wondering where you got your Grape Apollo beans...that's up there with one of my favorite smokes (starting to mass produce them lol getting a small army going ; )SWEEEEEEEEEETttETTTEtTTETTTTETtTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTtttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTtttttttttttttttttttttttttTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTt
Seeing as how I just lost one to being a male and had more males than usual (65% female, usually I get 75-80%), I could use a few extras for sure and they'll probably catch up to the current seedlings quickly I'm sure... I'm getting ready to put a few lights in my upstairs room again and get a separate veg chamber going up there, so definitely will have room. I'll take as many as you wanna part with -- I won't have enough to fill up the second shelf at the moment
So which ones did you have for me besides Apollo? I think there was a BB..? I hope my grape apollo seedling ends up female Things going well in my grow room... no issues lately.. these seedlings have been just chugging along and one of my cuts that rooted just resumed active growth... did you want one of the female Ace of Spades cuts?
Speaking of the second shelf... get paid tomorrow... will probably pick up remaining supplies needed. You think you might have time to stop by one morning this weekend or you got plans?
.I gifted him some of those double grape apollos that you sent my way man, spreading the love!
