This is the outdoor continuation of the Lemange breeding project, that I started in February. the goal is to create a true breeding strain that smells like lemons and has a clear uplifting high with some pain relief. All of the genetics are unknown. I'm starting from scratch here.

Anyway this is it, these are the mothers:



And these are the woods they will grow up in:

ill subscribe to watch your progress, i dont know how you would do this with plants that could have no lemon in their genes whatsoever though...

well he doesn't know whats in the genes, is lemon an actual strain?(haven't heard of one but there are too many strains to count) i would think he found a few random plants that had the lemon taste and uplifting high he was looking for and is breading them to have more consistent phenotypes...

Ive made selections from a lot of different plants so far I started with 15. I've only kept plants that have characteristic I am looking for. A male was already selected and the pollen was preserved.

Yes that's pretty much It thank you for understanding. Although citrus is something thats hard to taste in a smoke I'll be happy with a sweet fruity taste and a lemony aroma.

I'm getting some lemon purps (seeds) from a friend in Cali. They came from Humboldt Co. from the Purps crossed with a mystery male. He's very close to harvesting some right now indoors and reports they smell like skunky lemonaide. Have fun with your breeding project. Hope you get what you're looking for.

Thank you for you support brother, I hope I do too The first plant pictured has some tendency to purple out when nitrogen is low currently I'm not sure if cold temperatures are a factor but I love how it smells like pineapple and mango. My plan is to seed all three females I have right here, and work with three sets of F1s selecting males and females from the three sets to stabilize a few phenotypes in each group and then breed between these sets of phenotypes until I have one stable strain.

Very good to have you around big.

I had a busy day outside last night and today digging holes back out, putting out the Irish spring and moth balls, and just getting things ready they are still in there pots in case it gets cold I can still bring them but I thought with it being 60f out last night and a full moon It would be a perfect time to move them out under cover of darkness and the light from the moon was more than sufficient.

More pics in a few, I think they are hidden well lets see what you think.

Definately some dense forest there so I think you got the stealth part down. lol

The best part its only the beginning of may tomorrow the oaks don't even have leaves yet and the maples are just unfolding its going to fill out quick anyway here is more of what we all like, pictures:

Right I'm having a hard time finding them and I put them there. I think its safe to say they wont be found.
only thing I'm worried about is the deer and whether the native soil Is adequate cause its like horribly hard, clay and sand see:


Oh and I cant forget this guy, this guy is old hes been chillen in these woods for at least the last 10 years, turtles live for ages and this one is my buddy His eyes are pure red so I figured he was a stoner too lol.

They're already lemon strains.Might wanna add some nutes and fresh soil.Repellents,you can check out youtube,for natural homemade ones.

Deer are my biggest worry too. I'm going to piss all around my site every time I go out. I'm not sure how well it actually works. But try marking your territory.

Right now to keep away pests I'm using Irish spring soap, moth balls, and been brushing out my dog and using his hair. I think that outta do it ?

I'm not an expert on pest and animal control, hopefully that will work for you. Did you hear about dog hair working from a good source? My dog sheds tons of hair. I constantly have to vacuum it up. I might put it to work when I transplant outdoors.

I know but I am making my own anyway as a learning experience. I have nutrients taken care of using organic teas made from Espoma Plant-tone, molasses and honey on occasion to feed the microorganisms in the soil also mixed into my mix is composted horse manure and rabbit poop. My mix consists of Pro mix, Miracle grow organic choice, wood ash, epsom salt a small amount, perlite, vermiculite, native soil, and various Espoma products.

I know some growers bring there dogs with them to bring there scent, what you gotta realize is that a dog is somewhat a predatory animal and that's what it smells like plenty of dogs in my area chase deer so I'm pretty sure that if one smells a dog is just going to head the other way. My dog sheds a lot too man I just saw it as a endless supply of deer repellent thanks buddy lol mans best friend right there for sure.
