ok so for my cfls i have the 1600 lumens ones which i got in a 4 pack for like 6$ at walmart then to mount them i bought one of those cheapy dual bulb floodlight mount for like 8$ then a 15amp extension cord which i cut and wired the flood light to run off. mounted them on a hard plastic board kinda like a cutting board. If u dont really know alot about wiring i wouldnt recomend this but i been using like 4 of these floodlight set ups for long time never had any issues. hope that helps or gives u some ideas

Nice, with those lights. I harvested an ounce for my first grow off two bag seed Indica's with 3x42watt CFL's so you should have a nice little stash for yourself with those lights. Keep the big one a few inches above the top and then drop in some of your smaller 20's around the middle checking the heat near your leaves. Make sure you let the soil surface dryout before you add water and gently distribute it across the whole surface of the soil. And definaltey get a couple of small cheap fans, they will promote resperation and strengthen your stems.
cheers :bigjoint:

So let me say just a couple of things, first off I am the MG girl. I at first had some problems handling the moisture control part, but now I have no problems with that particular soil. That being said I talked to the MG people about the nutes that are in it, because of flushing, if I had nutes in there and flush am I flushing them out and they said they are 90 days no matter what. I still don't know how that can be, but thats what they said. So I keep in mind that it does have nutes before I nute my plants. I personally think your plants are not that bad. You can do it!!! The ones that live will probably kick your ass!! Never give up just learn from mistakes. Good luck to you.

A progress report. The pics are a little blurry but the plants are coming along nicely now. Once my 125w arrives we'll see more action hopefully.

Still waiting for my 125watt to come arrive so still only using 120 Watts in total. Both plants don't look tall as i'm trying to LST so the picture is kinda deceiving.

Here's the smaller plant

I noticed these browning marks on the tip of the plant any ideas what it may be? I've watered it for the second time in 3 days. Still haven't fed it nutes yet.

2nd plant looks a bit better

They look fine.... DO NOT give up. A wise person always told me... "You are responsible for the effort not the outcome."

Keep the faith! :-)

what kind of soil and perlite did you use? Does it have MG in it?
Well the perlite doesn't but as for the soil the garden shop said it didn't and it contained just normal soil but I just looked at the label just this second and it said nutrient enriched formula on the packet. I dunno if that means MG. Obama (my bigger plant) is looking fine though.

you could do a flush on the one with the leaves alittle brown it won't hurt but I wouldn't worry about it. your not even gonna be worrying about those leafs in a couple days.
