I have had that a few times and it is not desirable. Like you I thought hey that's interesting but turns out it is just mostly a bunch of shaggy leaves and very little bud. Not going to hurt anything but for me that is going to get cut off next time. I think this is called polyploidism.
I'm glad I posted here, I knew someone would experience it.

Amputate a branch?
I have a white widow plant with a fasciated branch. It’s like 3-4 branches in one and it’s really bushy. I was going to leave it and see how it went but I have noticed some mites and it’s difficult to get complete coverage since this branch is so dense. I was thinking of amputating the branch...

Thanks for all the answers, I just read some sites about this mutation, apparently it can give me a bigger volume in the harvest. When in doubt I will use colloidal silver spray on one of the smallest branches here and take some seeds from the plant, if the results are really good I already have some seeds guaranteed for the next crops.

I have looked up colloidal silver... and I see nasal sprays.. hair conditioner.. lol all made with that stuff but what product do I use? I want to experiment with that myself. Thanks.
Actually, this is the first time I'm using the method, but from what I've read it is very simple, a spray is applied (or you can brush the liquid, what matters is to cover the pistils with colloidal silver)
After applying every day for the first month of flora, the male sacs should appear, I will remove the branch a little before they start to open, and place it in a container with water, with aluminum paper underneath to collect the polish as they open.
I hope everything is right, from what I saw in the videos and read in the articles, it is very simple and there is not much to go wrong.
maybe the flowering period takes about 15 days beyond normal to ripen the seeds, but I think it is the maximum that can go wrong hehe.
The liquid I use is 100 ppm, the minimum recommended being 30 ppm.

Thanks. So does it matter what product I use? I seen a hair conditioner that said it was made of 99% colloidal silver.. but idk if thats the one lmao
