ALthouhg I haven't seen the selfie pictures yet. I did see one cop actively waving people in to the capital area (it looked like it), the one I saw it wasn't 100% that the cop was taking a selfie or getting taunted while a MAGAt selfie with him.
Why did you feel the need to post that? You actively made a account to come here and post on Wednesday. What was the point?

You can't take back what we've seen. You just gaslight. Trump used that tactic too much. It doesn't work any more.
We can clearly see the difference in treatment of the different crowds and clearly there is a double standard. White privilege and all that.
The thing is, I don't think you believe what you are saying. Zealots will say or do anything to advance their radical beliefs. One tip-off that they are zealots/radicals are they no longer see the contradictions between what they say and what they do. Zealots would kill people to save them.

Yeah that was the one I saw too. I just am not going to jump to conclusions on all the examples of what happened. Basically the same as what they did with Biden taking thousands of pictures with kids and finding the creepiest looking moments to screen grab to insinuate the worst.
Did you happen to see the Washington Post video of the lady who was shot. It is worth watching for the whole thing, I tried to find it on youtube earlier, but all I could find was the propaganda edits.

The video starts out showing a big group of people and at least one politician.
The cops were outside the door keeping the crowd back.
As they were doing damage (proud boy shirt kid punching glass with bare hand like a idiot).
Someone yells that the people were leaving.
The rioters go nuts saying how they don't want to hurt the cops protecting the room.
Then they escalate and start telling them that they will kill the cops to get through the door.
At that point the cops move out of the way.
The guards in the room take a stance and someone notices the gun and tries to tell them to stop.
But the rioters keep trying and the lady gets herself killed.
But all the youtube videos cut out the part with the cops protecting the door.

The more footage of the insurrection that I watch, the more I realize that this was in no way media sensationalism. And the violence wasn't done by just a few rabble-rousers. The violence was intense and massive, throughout the entire "protest", not only at the Capitol steps. In one video, I saw a crazed group of rioters taking cameras, tripods, and video gear from the press (I saw an AP tag on one case); then placing it all in a massive pile, which appeared akin to a mortal sacrifice to their god.

The guy posing for pictures with the podium has been caught and is facing some real prison time. I bet he's not smiling now from that filthy jail cell he's sitting in on a US Marshal Hold. These people are looking at some serious prison time and they should. They better get used to wearing orange.

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both;
18 U.S. Code § 1752 - Restricted building or grounds

I am with the cops on this one and think they actually did a near perfect job with what the support they were allowed to be given due to Trump's seditionists he has controlling the executive branch.
We still don't know the actual toll that this riot will take (all those elderly people exposed to so many super spreaders) until a couple weeks from now, but in the moment they kept all the people in the capital as safe as possible from the rioters.
I really hope that there are consequences for anyone and everyone that entered the capital. Even if it is being on a no-fly list kind of thing.
