This is just for a few moms I want to clean up before taking clones. I'm not worried about burnt leaves, I'm sure they will recover.
Just following up on this - I did try the citric acid at about 2 tsp per quart. That was definitely too much to spray during lights on - got a ton of burn spots on the upper leaves. I did a second application about 5-6 days later at lights out and there was much less damage to the leaves.
I also washed the plants off in the utility sink every few days in between. I've done that in the past to get rid of mites (just washing in the sink, no citric acid) and it has worked, but it was a long and tedious battle. Now after a couple weeks, only 1 of 4 plants still has mites, and their numbers are definitely much lower on that one.
I'm thinking to do one more application this weekend but at 1 or even 1/2 tsp per quart. I'd consider it a partial success so far, definitely better than washing with water alone.
