Alright well I got about 20 out of the 60 to pop already on my big Oasis crop. I am assuming it was just because I did not let the seeds harden off enough. In my mind I do not want to bother with the plant if the seed doesn't pop in 3 days minimum...If I am desperate I would leave them in there but since I am sitting on a surplus of seeds I am just going to pull and toss the seeds that haven't popped yet.

So what I will do probably after they get a nice fat root system in those cubes is go buy sever different types of MG and start the experiment!

Don't forget to plant a couple in pro mix or some thing and properly feed them to see if there is any difference in growth rate our plant health than the mg but you should really use clones to Get a clearer representation. You could end up with all differnt pheno's can't compare completely different plants. unless your just trying to prove that plants can live in mg if so than this is a silly pointless experiment because there is proof all over that it can be done

yeah, well you know what they say about assuming. i really think any noob growing in mg hasn't ever smoked weed grown by a real pro, or they just wouldn't even do it. JMO though.

You could buy miracle grow. Or you could just pop down too your local hydroponic shop and buy a bag of soil and a range of nutrients that's pretty much geared towards growing cannabis lol

I think it would be fair to say you got to watch out for the bullshit money making products but there is no point in buying a soil or nutes that's meant for growing flowers or something.

If you are a hobby grower and your main objective is to grow top of the line shit then why the fuck would you use Miracle Grow?? If you dont give a shit about your product then go ahead and us miracle grow for cannabis, I have no problem looking for a new MMJ supplier

I still dont see how a 15.99 30lb bag of Happy frog is soo much more expensive than MG..... and with Happy frog it is free of chemicals that I dont want to put in my body. When I spend 100 dollars on soil it usually is for filling around 20 3 gallon buckets with some left over....

not as an attack to the op.. .but I find it amusing that someone starts a thread with such an aggressive title...without having ever done what the title claims. Maybe something like.... "I don't know why there is so much fuss over MG growing products, so I am going to do an all MG grow to show it is possible to grow good bud with it" would have been accepted with a more friendly response.

I don't need a miracle grow... just my grow ;)

There is a reason grow shops dont sell Miracle Grow. Most likely the owner of a hydroponic grow store knows a thing or two about growing MARIJUANA and there is a good chance they know a thing or two about good quality soils for growing MARIJUANA. Just be fucking honest and say you use Miracle grow because you are a cheap motherfucker, bottom line you are a CHEAP!

I have never seen a single person say "you can't grow a plant in miracle grow".

I have, however, seen MANY people *truthfully* say "miracle grow sucks ass for growing compared to the quality stuff that is out there that costs almost nothing more than miracle grow".

And rightfully so.

If you don't think that the matter and medium in which we grow, raise, prepare our food before we ingest it has a difference on its beneficial qualities... well then that is your choice. I personally feel a difference between food I grow organically and that which I have to buy that is made with preservatives, and anti-bacterials... and steroids. My medical marijuana is the same... There is a difference in effect, taste, and aroma. Shit works exactly like that... and stop trying to make a pissing contest.

There is a reason why the organic (clean) movement is so big... because it does have an effect on how people feel after ingesting that produce, meat, cannabis. Next you will be telling me that MSG has no effect on people, and is the same as natural sea salt...
