Too big, need to move!

These babies are reaching 9 feet so it's time to move them. I've already found a new spot but I'm worried about carrying them through the woods. I was thinking about wrapping plastic wrap from the bottom to the top to keep them compressed and to make sure none of the branches are damaged. Does this seem like a good idea or does anyone have some other ideas? thanks for the help

Yes tie them up with plastic and string like a xmas tree. Bend branches up not down.

Nice looking plants look at those stalks. :)

get yourself some burlap not plastics and just wrap it snug not to tight be very careul take your time..dont rush it..

I just hope for you that the place you found is safe and close to your grow place 'cuz those are gonna be a bitch to move man! Nice looking plants!

Just out of curiosity... How big are those containers and what soil and what are you feeding them with and how old are they?
burlap would be better than plastic so they can breathe, I agree, but if you don't have to keep them wrapped for hours plastic will work fine.

Thanks for the replies. Burlap would for be better but I don't have any and plan on moving them tonight. I'm only going to keep the plastic on for 30 minutes tops. I'm pretty sure they are 5 gallon pots, I just found them in my garage. I used half MG moisture control and half from my compost pile. I'll let you know how the move goes later tonight.

Those are very nice plants. Just a suggestion...you may want to use lst next time you grow. I have plants that have roughly the same growth on a plant that is no more than 18" tall (just very wide). Much easier to conceal - maybe you wouldn't have had to move them.

Yeah that would have been a good idea, I've never used lst on a outdoor grow but next year I will for sure give it a try.

Damn so we wrapped up the plants and headed to the new spot. As soon as we started to pull them out of the truck a car came out of no where and started to slow down. We threw the plant back in the trunk and I walked up to the window. The mother fucker pulls out his badge and asks what we were up too and I told him we were trying to find a friends house, luckily this guy knew who my friend was and told me where his house was haha. My heart was fucking pounding. We went back home and came back an hour later and it went fine. It took about an hour because it was super deep swamps. But I'm pumped about to go hit the victory vape. Peace.

How do the plants look now?

You said swamp? How did the soil look? or did you leave them in the pots?

where were these growing before you put them in the tots?? I was thinking you jacked the plants for a minute? In the first pic it looks like you just dug them up? That must of hurt?

I'm afraid you will stunt them with all the effort you put into that. hope they come out of it, if they do. In the past, I've had to move planst and they were fucked up from the movement and really never fully recovered in time to harvest. good luck!
