That is why I train them so that the buds have plenty of room in between so they don't touch as you can see in the pic. And other then this grow where I had 3 plants get a few buds that got affected because of horrible storms I've never had any problems with mold..and I only lost a total of 1/4 ounce per plant but they averaged 4 1/2 pounds a plant. This strain was not as resistant. And I've seen plenty of single stalked plants end up with mold. received_10154625819182263.jpeg

Last year I started in late may and early june just to keep my plants small. But it started raining in june and didn't really stop until late august. Small plants will rot too.

Didn’t realize how fast they grow :)
I have noticed a decrease in growth after a certain point
Must be my lights :/
I’m going to go ahead a buy a hps set up this week to help out
My under growth is slow
And one of my Sativas looks like it’s not growing at all ...hmmm
Must be the lights!

ya know there is a thing called yard maintenance...I have my crew go thru my plants every 3 weeks or so...hand pluck dead leaves...then cut the smaller interior branches that never see the sun due to the upper bigger bud sites...clean them up and they get good ventilation...no meaning any disrespect, but this is how I handle my yard...ymmv...;))

oh...I also have an older commercial swamp cooler...I just built a stand for it but no water supply...nights that forcast frost it gets turned on...its just a big squirrel cage fan now...keep the air moving and frost won't form...but after 45 yrs smoking, 30 yrs making oil and 12 yrs growing, I'm still a newbie...and I'm ok with that...;)))

Very much agreed.
There's huge mold issues, where i am.
Short season, huge temperature fluctuations. 30'C during the day, less than 20, during the night. It's crap outdoors here.
Anything growing inwards, towards the trunk, gets the chop. You still end up with a nice, full exterior as well.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I really can't grow indoors. Space and equipment are the main factors for that. Too little available space, and not enough $$ for the equipment that I would want/ need.

I have no other options really but to go to the great outdoors. I believe that if I were in your locale I just couldn't grow at all. Maybe just some autoflower plants would be all that I could have.

Yeah, lol
Ive tried, and failed, more often than i succeeded.
Its, indoors, with a 4x4, and an oil heater, for me.
Gotta do, what ya gotta do.

Does suck though.
Just 5-10'C extra, during the nights, would make all the difference.
Just cant beat the sun.
Lucky bastards :P:P
