These fans are also great.

The TD-100 is great for your setup, plus its a lot quieter than the vortex. I have the TD-150, runs quite and they have excellent reviews. As far as your filter goes, you can make one yourself, just have to make sure its rated for you square footage and for your fans cfm. I made one recently...If your interested look it up here.

Or do a search, there is plenty of DIY tutorial out there, plus you end up finding stuff you would have never searched in the first place. Be prepared to read a lot.
hey man. thanks for the phenomnal input. i checked your thread and was very impressed to say the least.
and i really appreciate your help with the fan... my only thing is that i dont have a ton of money to spend on the fan, and my grow space is about a third the size of yours... ive been looking into just getting a 4inch duct fan from home depot but everyone is tellling me they just wont work that well.... i just dont know what to do. if you or anyone else has any ideas on what kind of fan i can get without blowing the bank that would be greatly appreciated.
much love and happy growing with you new stealth box (love it) :peace:bongsmilie

Thanks for the the compliments HipE. Unfortunately I don't have any more suggestions for you regarding fans. Have you tried craigslist?

I have got two small clay pots that are currently growing under two 3500k clf lights ( i know thats not the best and im getting different ones.) each pot has two plants.
my light cycle is 24/0 and while i was gone this weekend some of my plants started acting weird. one of them have yellow tips. one other has leaves curlrling upwards (indicating needing water?) and the other with its leaves drooping slightly (indicating overwatering)... and the last one is growing wonderfully and is strong and looks perfect..
im just a little confused. if they all have the same light and the same watering then what is going on. these are bag seed but i know the strain. is it just the particular strain or what??/ and insight would be wonderful.
also if i need to post any pics in order to help than i will gladly do so.
please and thank you.
I'd recommend putting 1 plant per pot, more than 1 plant tends to cause the roots to "fight" over space.

If your leaves are yellowing a little from the bottom up she's wanting some nitrogen.

About the leaves curling upwards is it on the sides? This is a general indication that its too hot , do you have some sort of fan moving air around? how close are those CFL's to the canopy? Is there air movement across the top of the canopy?

I've noticed with the few plants I have under CFL's if they are within a inch or less even with a fan blowing right on the bulbs/canopy they still tend to V upwards a little bit on the edges.. Backing my CFL's off to about 2" alleviates that problem.

If the leaves are drooping downards and your soil is bone dry that means they are thirsty. If the soil is soggy and they are droopy chances are your over watering it, let it dry out a little bit and should perk back up.

Burn on! :peace:bongsmilie
