They sell mufflers for fans, exhaust fans at least. Take the noises down by 50 percent. But with a divorce on the way, i'd say you made the right move.
Good point about giving outdoor a try. It's that time of year again. It's not as difficult as you may think. With the right planning, hard work, and a little luck, the payoff can be huge. I'm a pretty light smoker actually, so with a modest outdoor project it is usually enough to get me through at least half the year. I love it though. I don't even HAVE to do it anymore really I just do it to do it. There are few people who know the details, but my brother thinks I'm a nut because it's a lot of work, but it's fun and worth it to me. The fresh air and exercise are great and it reminds me of being a kid again "playing" out in the woods. The only thing I don't like are the bugs! haha.that is a damn shame. i truly feel your pain, i grew for a couple years indoors and had to quit when we paid the house off and had to have a reappraisal for the insurance, then moved my gf and her kids in shortly after and all my growing space is gone. its been years since i grew and i miss it sooo bad. i have been considering outdoor grow this year but have almost no outdoor experience
good luck either way
Good call I wouldn't chance it.I had 6 plants in a grow tent vegging at about 3 nodes. My landlord moved into the suite above me and kept complaining that he could hear a slight buzzing down where my closet is since his bedroom is right above it. That was my exhaust fan. I cant turn the exhaust fan off because it will smell too bad without the filtering. I already had it inside a semi-soundproof box but it was still causing slight vibrations. I told him i had an aquarium down there and that i would try to fix the problem. I tore down my grow the next day. Im too paranoid living in fear now.
Im packing up my gear and putting it in storage untill i get a better place to live. Man it hurt to tear those babies up.
