Toolage 87's Indoor Grow Garden

In a perfect world it would be an option--no --my aim is to get a '' wonder plant '' either by seed or clone and try and perfect a scrog type perpetual harvest set up -- I'd like to get into the breeding side of things but I dont really understand enough about genetics. The best weed I ever grew was '' Laughing Buddha '' with seeds from Barney's Farm in Amsterdam and only wish now that I had taken a clone and could keep that one going, it was fantastic. Ive never really heard of the strain BC Ice that you're growing but we live to learn.

Now Skunk, old fashioned as it might be, seeing as you have just got some skunk related seeds is one of my favourites, so I'll watch that one with interest.

My own grow just now is White Rhino fem seeds by Nirvana and its looking big and bushy.

Ive still to catch up with most of the thread but its good stuff and I reckon we share the same experimental outlook, I'm looking with a mixture of suspicion and admiration at the led type light you got, mines is a 250W MH in the attic but I'm looking for anseparate veg/ flowering rooms set up at least in place by the spring.

Yea I wanna make a SOG perfect strain but also a perfect strain. I wanna make it root fast, produce a lot of crystal nice big dense buds even under low wattage light(s).

For breeding there are tones of different things to look for.

1 - Fast flowering time
2 - Fast rooting time
3 - High crystal production on bud and for kiff.
4 - Tall or short plant
5 - Males that produce alot of crystal when flowering to help make a crystal strain.
6 - Smell
7 - Taste
8 - Colour

and there is more then that but that's just some things people look for

I came across BC Ice when I was looking for a seed bank that had a good selection of strains but not to many because alot doesn't meen the seed bank is a good one. But I also was looking for a seed bank that has good prices.

Well I haven't gotten it yet but I did order it. I am waiting for it to go through. I've heard some good things about how good the smoke is and such so I figured I'd place an order in for it.

I've been looking at different seed banks and the seed bank that I got my beans from and am getting more from I can make maybe 10+ different strains that other companies have made but I would make it with my own twist. I have a few strain ideas that I wanna make and I already have strain names picked out.

Well the guy at the store told me its good for veg but not for flowering and so far its been good for veg. I am looking for lighting that cost little money to buy, uses little power and gives the best result hence why I chose a 70w HPS lamp instead of a 100w or a 150w because if I wanna get a second 70w HPS lamp I can cover a nice area and pay less for power over a 150w HPS. I my self is trying to get my veg and flowering area built before then.

Hi Toolage, well you are moving along that's for sure bru. You look like you got your cloning down sweet and are finally getting your grow area finished. And I read you are working, is that a new job you got? Keep it up and we'll hopefully see some flowers in your cab soon.

Hey DST thanks fro dropping by. Yea the problem with cloning in soil was holding things back and now that I can clone I have been getting a half ass flowering area done so that I can be able to get some clones in there once the BC Ice that I have gets bigger and I can get cuttings from it.

My grow area isn't done yet. It is still a a work in progress but I have sunk alot of money into it I wanna start getting some smoke investment return before I do more work on the final setup but its also gonna be part of it built the other parts are gonna have to be figured out the size and such.

Yes I am working but I've had this job for 3 years now. I have been looking at side things like growing herbs and other kinds of plants to sell so I can make a little more cash though.

Hey Kev. Thanks for dropping by. Thank you. Its not the final setup but its what works for me right now and I just wanna get some smoke out of it instead of sinking more money into it and it will give me time to figure out how I want my layout to be exactly. I was gonna have my cloner in the veg area but I don't know if I would have enough room for the other plants since it does use up alot of space so that part is sill a work in progress. As for the flowering area. I might run a single 70w lamp or 2 and have 1 on for 12 hours and the other one off and when that one turns off the other one turns on.

Thank you. I have looked at different sites to see what kind of strains they have and what strains make up that strain and that's where I figured I'd order the basic strains and make my own version of it. Also I like a selection because the more I have then the more different strains that I can make. Right now I could male around 27 different 50/50 strains
