i have 2 main colas or tops i have a bunch off other branches that come off, the plant is really healthy looking i'm using a high nitrogen fert 12-4-8 mg at a 75% dose every other watering i'll give it a few more days like this and if they dont start to grow then i'll try cutting off the top node and see if that works

you are not spouse to chop the top off, I suggest watching a youtube video on topping, I had no idea how to watched one, now I have it down and it is simple once you've done it, mind you it does take a solid week or longer to bounce back sometimes after sniping her...good luck..maryjane is a hardy plant and can bounce back from a lot! once love!

if its already bushy you already have multiple tops. wherever you pinched a top theres going to be 2 other tops close by that will grow out more there not necesarrily going to see new tops come right where you pinched. if you want to promote some even growth you can supercrop some but you already have some kind of training done to the plant whether it was by accident or it wilted while you where cloning it or something.

Yeah, I dunno if taking a clone from the top would work if its already stopped growing. Its like the one guy said (which you said you've topped it already so I'm sure you saw) but the new tops are what would've been just the two side branches.

The fact that the plant has already starting to alternate leaves means that it already has the next stage of hormones directing the new growth. You might wanna ask around, but I'll bet topping rarely works after the leaves start alternating. Or at least has a higher chance of not working.

Edit: it might be a good experiment to try and take that clone actually. See if fresh roots right below it can get it to act like a new plant. With alternating leaves tho it won't grow near as fast as other clones might.

could be a good idea but i just tryed my first batch of clones the other day and i'm waiting to see if the jiffypot with rooting gel method will work before i go chopping more up.

the other thing about this is those 2 main colas havent got any bigger sence i topped so maybe when i topped her it just put all the hormones into bushing it out and it will start the new tops soon idunno either way the plant is healthy and thats all that matters:)

i no how to top i've already topped 3 of my plants the first time and it worked everytime i topped this one and it never did a thing thats where my problem is
It doesn't matter where you top, what matters is you leave 2 growing shoots at the top with an equal leaf for both new tops. Your pics seems to show you removed one shoot and leaf completely and the other shoot leaving only the leaf. Next time pick a spot where the two leaves are close in size to top leaving equal size shoots, this way they will grow with equal vigor. Seeds are a little different than clones. Clones alternate nodes while seedlings are more symmetrical. Topping is the same though, leaving as equal of shoots and leave size as you can.

you can actually cut the whole damn branch off right where you see new leaves at also. its not rocket surgery! :P

not so much about topping just why the hell this one didnt work some people are telling it its because the plants to mature,if i could get a stright answer it would be dope

Like I said earlier, it looks like you took both shoots leaving only one leaf. Being seedlings and symmetrical move down one set of nodes and try again. Pinch just the new growth, being careful to leave the little shoots with its leaves on both sides. Go down the plant a node or two, doesn't matter, what does is, leaving 2 shoots and their leaves intact, preferably similar in size.

so just cut one set of nodes of at the sight were they started? thats what i was gonna do if this didnt work and use the top part as a clone aha thanks

For future reference, look up Uncle Ben's topping for 4 tops. I did it with my first grow and it works great.
